Return Of Them beta hot fix

  • Updated wardrobe to be cycle through different states of the character. Normal, Ghost, Mighty, Bloomed, etc.
  • Fixed a crash when baby beefalo are killed while following an adult beefalo
  • Fixed a crash when the shadowhand tries to put out a fire (may fix other crashes as well)
  • Fixed mermbrain targeting crash
  • Modified the flare overlay effect to display better on non-standard screen sizes

The custom idles are just for DLC/refreshed characters.

So unless they plan on giving Willow a non-Bernie exclusive idle, which I doubt, then we're caught up until Warly.

There seems to be a crash with character mods, I've only tested Wilba and Wagstaff so far when cycling through in the select screen/wardrobe.

Is this something you guys should fix? Or is there something we need to do? I am the creator of the Wagstaff mod.

Thanks for the report! Most likely it's something on our end. We'll look into it, and if it's something you need to address, we'll let you know.

Edit: Yup we've got a fix, it'll go out in the next RoT update. Mistake on our end with modded characters in he Wardrobe. Thanks again for the report!

Thanks Peter! Just another question, Will we be able to add cycles of our own? Say for a character like Wilba, Would it be possible to add her Werepig build in the cycle? Or for other modded characters with special skins/effects.

We've been discussing how we're going to do that. It'll probably be via the *character*_none skin prefab definition's skin data, or some other mod api to define the different modes that your character can go into.
