Why Wormwood sucks, and how to fix him

I strongly agree with the point of Wormwood being a mid-tier character because there's nothing he brings to the table that other characters can't do (apart from nearly free living logs whenever you feel like it) His free farms are easily bypassed by Wickerbottom, even though she requires materials to construct them. Other characters can do essentially the same thing too, albeit it will be more expensive. The Green Thumb tab is barely useful at all as most of the items there have a superior counterpart available to all characters (i.e. tooth traps are better than bramble traps). His blooming bonuses are only available during spring and cannot be controlled. 

Even his farms being a massive food source for the entire team is irrelevant since there are simply better options - pig/bunny farms, tallbirds, spiders, etc. Hunger is by far the easiest stat to manage and you don't need to be Wormwood for that. If you have a team that is not 5 leeches living in your fridge, you shouldn't have any problems with food whatsoever. And, unlike Wormwood's farms, other sources of food mentioned produce valuable resources, such as pig skin & silk. Wormwood has none of that to offer.

Good ideas, the armor should have a buff, and the idea of him not being able to spread fires to prevent “accidents” from happening, also being able to dig up crops so you can actually place things in the spots you need stuff to go would be nice. Overall most of these ideas are pretty good, hover in going to add my own idea, could Klei add a part where when he makes campfires and lights trees on fire for charcoal and stuff make it so he won’t almost instantly catch on fire? Maybe just have him start smoldering instead since that’s a dst perk. Hopefully the devs read this and can get some ideas on how to make wormwood less of a bother. Also make it so worth’s souls heal a little less than normal so you can’t do that kind of stuff so easily, and make it so wetness or wearing wet things doesn’t remove sanity. I hope y’all like these ideas that I totally came up with myself totally...

I personnally think when Wormwood caught fire, turn him in to a card cost 1mana

upon playing it, give you another one mana, 2 hp minion

this is the card I designed for him, the giving minion is still being drawn
