Has anyone tried to translate what is on them?

It says “You are all Trapped here..” “You are all in Hell” “You are all collectively screwed” “Give up hope weaklings!” “There is no escape..” “Try Flanz happy Flan”

Oh cool. Thank you.

I recently started playing around with world generation in DS/T and noticed that there are three unused biomes in the ruins (all three are similar to each other, you can find them in the file 'dont_starve\data\scripts\map\tasks\ruins.lua'): "CityInRuins," "TownSquare," and "AlterAhead." Here's how they look in the game. I was also able to generate them in DST. It might be significant regarding the game's lore - I'm talking about Daywalker.

Long-long ago, I believe around 2016-2017, I got this set-piece with lone Warrior Pig & Tiki Torch on a personal DST server, in a "chamber" with the 4 Ruins Pillars en route to Labyrinth. I wish these rare sets were more prevalent. Likewise more of the classic DS set-pieces (Pig Fortress, MacTusk Village, Maxwell’s Swamp, Cave Camp) should be incorporated into DST WorldGen in significant capacity - they really brought "life" and "adventure" in DS.

That and we need more setpieces in general.

These things look no different to current generations the game has, really. Pig torches look like they were a placeholder for other clockworks to generate or were part of ruins till it made no sense to have guard pigs there. Sometimes there are also big monkey towns that generate in there, but it's an optional biome from what I get. But more ruin areas to explore could be cool but not needed since nothing new will be brought with it unless that's changed. Often coming down there is for the resources than living there, really.

For some reason, the Gramophone files now contain HD versions of unrealized items from the first versions of the original Don't Starve. There is also a burnt model

I might be wrong. But judging by some assumptions in the game files, we were supposed to have a koalefant mutant. Moreover, inside the game, in a note from Wagstaff, he is mentioned as a creature that can possibly mutate

We might get a mob of one in a future update, but currently there's a Koalefant corpse you can spawn in.

Some friends and I were looking into it, and it seems like it can spawn during hunts where a mob will surprise jump out from it. I'm still looking into how to get it to spawn, currently.

Huh?! That's taking hunt surprise quite literally

It looks pretty rough/early but there's new 'jumpscares' for hunts.

Aha! This explains the new types of suspicious dirt pile and a piece of meat when varg spawns!
