DST posses a togetherness question and that's probably why Willow's rework seem so hard to do... specially when we are coming from DS Willow

btw .. from what I've seen in DST.. the devs are gonna take Willow's fire theme MORE AS a psychological fascination than a real pyro... I have the sneaky suspicion this is what the trailer is gonna be about ... we will have to wait and see

ofc we don't know details about insulation... but as long as you are warmth all the time with bernie then insulation might not be as relevant cuz bernie emits constant warmth... again we don't know exactly.. just dropping some ideas around

... I hope the devs are dropping SOME (JoeW said literaly some) features related to fire.. maybe weapons or structures or something like that...

if they pull a homura and give her a horrible suffering-filled backstory that makes her life in the Constant seem like a dream come true I'll be so satisfied

When Willow gets insane Bernie transforms into Big Bernie.. Only one big Bernie per Willow... 

Big Bernie has 2k HP and deals 50 dmg... No AoE

Bernie taunts all enemies around Willow except bosses

Comes from the Forge actually.. But I'm happy there is something else it's not fire related...and she can farm quite a lot with Bernie's help now

Insanity is pretty firm in the meta, so having a perk that only works when insane will be really good. Having bernie fight the shadow monsters himself is pretty good, but since his durability stops at 0%, he has 2K health, and he can be fully repaired by a single use of a sewing kit, I think Willow will become a fantastic nightmare fuel farmer, especially with the nightmare amulet. The community loves their nightmare fuel, so having a character that lets you farm it very easily should make willow a lot more viable choice.

I can see willow and maxwell being a pretty good combo with this in mind, endless nightmare fuel, or even winonna for the trusty tape.

Yeap. I mean from what I saw this insaniy meta is gonna be strong..

Small Bernie doesn't attack, they should work the same as they do now. If I remember you can't stack big Bernie's, only one can be on screen at a time or so. However, if a big Bernie dies and a small Bernie is near, then they will grow into big Bernie so there is value in having multiple deployed Bernie's if you want constant damage. Could sew the downed one too and just place them back down, endless big Bernie's.

Speaking of healing, I hope he has the beefalo thing where healing they get from items is multiplied, otherwise it would be kinda pointless since sewing or taping brings them back to max regardless and even small Bernie has a lot of health.

I feel like Abagale still has Bernie beat in regards to small mobs, since she can AoE stunlock them, but she can't fight or taunt nightmare creatures however, so bernie still has his uses. If I had to compare the two, I would say that Abigail is more crowd control and general fighting, while Bernie is more for aggro tanking, and specialized fighting. Though if you used both you would have quite the pair, Bernie taking all the damage and attracting the enemies while Abagale deals AoE damage to the clumped up mobs, especially at dusk or night.

Yeap.. Having a Bernie armie is gonna be quite useful.. One down.. Next grows 

The focus is ofc different: aby is gonna be no doubt the AoE beast while Bernie mostly for shadows with some extra perks for everyday survival. I hope Abi is gonna get a massive hp buff and more aggro control. That would make her really powerful. 

The Aby and Bernie combo I personally don't find it that useful since she has the AoE stunlock preventing her to take that much dmg, but we are gonna have to wait for the update.
