M.C.
This is getting really frustrating. My autosweepers stop working randomly. No, this isn't a loader/receptacle priority issue. Sweepers are working fine and then... they aren't. The only thing that helps is deconstructing the sweeper and constructing it again, after which it instantly starts working. Which tends to be a problem when the said sweeper is inside a sealed chamber with a volcano. Any idea what's causing this or how to get it fixed without rebuilding? beowulf2010
Sometimes saving and reloading helps. Other than that? Yeah, not much you can do. Try clearing the inputs of everything the sweeper can reach and then re-selecting what you want. I've had a couple critter feeders stop accepting input from otherwise functional autosweepers. Clearing them then re-selecting igneous worked in this case. FollowStrong
Yep, the same to me. No reaction from devs... Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/103156-autosweeper-bug/#findComment-1158112 Share on other sites
M.C.
Reported it as a bug with more info. https://forums.kleientertainment.com/klei-bug-tracker/oni/autosweepers-stop-working-r17496/ Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/103156-autosweeper-bug/#findComment-1158130 Share on other sites
biopon
I've stopped playing because of this and the microgram bug. I have a few sweepers that stop working every couple of cycles until I rebuild them or the receptacles. Ok after the autosweepers feeding my water sieves stopped my whole colony died not only once ... (I rely on electrolyzers and bristle berries ^^) Disabling and enabling reactivated my auto sweeper => Use a clock sensor to turn the sweeper off and on again once a cycle Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/103156-autosweeper-bug/#findComment-1158246 Share on other sites

I have a fully automated system, that just needs constant 8kg/s of water to keep all 240 plants happy (Water in, berries out. No harvesting or other duplicant interaction needed.^^) It´s all about saving duplicant work time^^ Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/103156-autosweeper-bug/#findComment-1158253 Share on other sites
SharraShimada
The tip with the clock.sensor is worth gold. If this works, its a nice, doable workaround without much work attached. 0xFADE
Oh nice. Simple till they actually fix it. Not very expensive to implement either.
