SmokeDatPakalolo
So I never knew you could do this because I assumed you would technically be sleeping in total darkness.Does that mean that Grue (or the Night Monster who only attacks you in total darkness) is just a hallucination or effect of insanity? Silvi
....Mind Blown. You CAN go to sleep just as the dawn is ending, no need for fire. I did that before to avoid death by grue.True though, why woudln't it kill you if you sleep? Is the straw roll a MAGICAl straw roll? *gasp*

Sebster22
Perhaps the straw wall is actually a miniature time machine, and your character is only knocked unconscious for a few seconds as it operates leading to the morning?
Judas Physicist
It's the same logic as a child fearing of monsters, blankets provide you immunity from monsters, The Grue is not an exception to this rule.
