Wetness protection items don't stop drench during fog?!

I don't know if mentioned, but is this intended? I could have umbrella and rain coat on and would not get water resistance during fog, only when it stops, by which time character is already fully drenched.

Fog increases you wetness via humidity, not rain. Why would the umbrella and rain coat do anything about that?

Well in real life at least, I don't come home drenched after walking through fog dressed in a rain coat.

Wonder where you guys're living in... Actually it's not a simple fog I suppose. Hypersaturated air with humidity can make you drenched out even if you wear waterproof clothing unless it's a spacesuit.

I wouldn't say I'm drenched after a fog. Maybe wetness between 10-20. Not enough to turn my items wet.
The danger is as soon as the fog lifts the rain will pick up fast, so switch to your rain gear.

From what I know, the only item that can counter fog wetness so far is the Pith Hat. It halves the wetness gain rate. I believe the fog is meant to be a slower source of wetness that's harder to counter.

Only slightly related but I noticed the umbrella does produce the rain sound effect when you carry it in the fog.
