I has hoping so but from what i see in the online videos isn't so...it eat 14 kg/ cycle and excrete 70 kg... after is dig you will have 35 kg...

Which is exactly what'd happen if they accidentally added in an extra 0.

By coincidence, it is also exactly what would happen if they did'nt accidentally but voluntarily added two 0 after the 5. So, can you elaborate your point ?

I get that you people are craving for a way to get rid of regolith, I am too. But making such assumption aren't helping. Indeed, it is more destructive than helpful, cause you want to break a perfect critter that naturally and automatically protect the surface of the asteroid from the comets. Finally, the players can dig up their way into the asteroid without worrying about the upcoming comets apocalypse ruining the near surface biomes. That was a big problem too, nearly as big as the regolith I think.

Can't you just ask for another morph of this critter, a morph that would actually have for purpose to be a regoltih eater critter ? Nowhere Klei said that the presently Shove Hole would have that purpose.

Oh thank god! I was so worried @tzionut the black hole of negitvity was going to have to quit this game if they didn’t fix this any faster.

That was an obvious parameter mistake. Pretty funny though...

Oh hey... the *patient* guy couldn't wait 30h before threatening with quitting (seriously, why do people threat they'll quit?)

And on an obviously and legitimately buggy pre-patch to an early-access game, no less. Some people really have problems with understanding reality.

Well, you indeed were all right about the added 0, congratulations all. So we actually have a regolith eater now, that's quite a good news ! :D

But I'm bugging on what could have been on mind with the dirt and iron ore. Like it has been said on another topic, if the only purpose of this critter is to destroy regolith, it would be cpu friendlier to directly decrease the amount of regolith generated. I'm quite happy/quite disappointed in fact.

This way to solve the "too much" regolith problem by nerfing the critter leaves the "comets surface apocalypse" and the "end game dirt provision" problems unanswered to me. Plus, I liked the idea of generating more iron ore if needed. Sigh.

*ALERT. SURFACE BREECH ON MY HYPE DETECTED* *Woosh !*

As amusing as this trainwreck of a thread has been to read, I think it's time to let it die. The original problem pointed out by the whiner has been corrected as a typo. It's doubtful this thread will attract anything further constructive input.
