minespatch
I was drawing the Constant people's graves(including the queen) and I remembered this gif: On 3/22/2017 at 11:25 PM, Instant-Noodles said: Even though the Rose seems to be Maxwell and Charlie's theme, the thorns belong to THEM. Tylordian
I believe the roses, not the thorns, are Charlies theme. The thorns in her character represent THEM corrupting her. We see the FW taken down by the thorns, and only a sprinkle of roses at the end, to signify their power through her. The thorns aren't charlies theme, its THEIRs. It's just I like the symbolism Klei has added. It's subtle and took me a while to notice.

The Fuelweaver does say "You're not them" upon death. I'm pretty sure he would recognize THEIR power.

The Fuelweaver has no reason to bring up them in the first place when he gets killed unless he is recognizing something related to them but not being controlled by them, like the thorns. Otherwise he would just be asking generally who is killing him.
