Cave hole

Recommended Posts

Sadly i don't think its possible to fill up a sinkhole and i don't recall any changes on the matter
But if it helps i suggest you surround the hole with a few Bunnyman Hutches that way the bats will be dispatched every night by the bunnies and stop being an annoyance.

Yeah bunnyman wont work im webber

It'll still work if you're Webber. You just need to take care not to wander near them at dusk/night. Now if you want an alternate solution, you could use lureplants and a hard turf like boards so you can walk through to the sinkhole. The problem with this though is that you need careful placement of the turf and meatbulb, as well as waiting a few days for the eyeplants to grow. They also won't grow back in winter so the batlisks can eventually kill them all and wander freely until spring. They also have a higher priority for wildfires so you might also need a flingo to protect it in the summer. Personally, I'd recommend using bunnymen due to the fewer cons, but this is still an option.

Put bunny houses around it and wall them in with a gate so you can come and go in the daytime? That way the bunnymen can't get out and attack you. They won't get all of the bats, but they could reduce the numbers to something more manageable. I've also seen people create a fenced-in bunnymen village in a U shape around the sinkhole so that they can go in and out of the cave at any time of day.

As a webber place a spare spider den next to the exit and upgrade it to tier 2. Batlisks will aggro and fight the spiders every night, and leave you alone.

I suggest it being tier 2 since batlisks will outnumber the spiders from a tier 1 den and after they are dead, break the den. A tier 2 den and above will result in spiders always winning.

Spiders are slightly less efficient than bunnymen, since they will eat whatever bat wing or monster meat drop from the fight. Personally, When playing webber, I choose them over the permanent risk of forgetting about the bunny and for whatever reason walking by.

Bunnymen are usually the way to go, but if you can't, use stone walls (preferably tier 3). Batilisks deal extremely low damage to walls, making them a nice alternative. If you can't afford Tier 3, put a basically invincible mob like Chester next to the sinkhole. Although Batilisks can fly over Tier 2 walls, they will immedeately target Chester when they come out. Due to his rapid regeneration, he'll basically be invincible to them, allowing you to do whatever you'd like as Chester gets mauled.
