The colors are warmer looking than this, but thanks to the lighting in my room it got blues mixed in. Oh well I’ll make do since I wanted to share this regardless. Assignment for my water color class. I was surprised my teacher okayed the sketch for this since usually my teachers don’t like me drawing toon characters. But.. instead he was in favor of it out of the three sketches I did. So yeah. 3 hours of painting later. It isn’t perfect in regards to flat washes but I gave it my best after two epic fails. I consider this a win since I’m not a water color expert so I’m kind of happy considering it’s my first go to try and strive to be better in this medium. Went with an analogous color scheme consisting of reds, oranges and yellows, with a touch of purple. (Though again, camera doesn’t do the colors justice.) And that’s all there is to it.
