Weird logic in Don't Starve

Just eating butterfly wings to regain health is logic enough.

How about planting butterflies to get flowers?

I actually did address a long time ago. It's definitely not 100% realism in terms of our world, but it does provide some justification as long as you remember that it's within the context of a world where magic is most certainly a thing. (That's why a lot of normally weird logic doesn't bother me all that much.)

But you know what really bothers me because not even magic can excuse it? Why in the hell does WILLOW overheat? Specifically, why is she able to overheat just by being too close to large fires? Like, I can kinda sorta excuse summertime overheating, since it's exposure to built-up heat from everywhere for long periods of time. And while she definitely should still be able to take more heat before she starts to take damage, I can accept that it would eventually happen. But when Willow starts overheating because she's standing in the middle of a couple of burning tress, it makes me want to pull my hair out.

I sure it happens with everyone. I got it earlier while playing as Wilson.

Are we talking about overheating? I know about that. And that's fine for it to happen to everyone else, but it shouldn't be happening to Willow.

I always saw the meat effigy like something as voodo, when the beard is just the link between the user and the magic artifact, that's why it is in the magic tab isn't it?, and here is where the logic fails again, when beardless characters are able to make a meat effigy too, that feels more like a mistake

Yeah, because the beard hair is non-living yet produced by you. So it's kinda like a 'missing link' between non-living resources and yourself, making the meat effigy more like the player.

Also, is nobody going to mention pigmen?
a) They don't realise that you're feeding them monster meat just so you can kill them, even despite witnessing their friend's death.

b) A new pig appears at a house within a few days after you murdered the old one (I bet the property prices are really low around my base)

c) Only poops after eating certain foods. And will poop infinitely if it's a werepig. Also hilarious.

d) You can have an infinite number of pigs without ever having to feed them.

e) They eat rot. 'nuff said.

f) THE PIG KING WILL HAPPILY TRADE GOLD FOR THE MEAT OF HIS (EX) VILLAGERS!?!

G) all meat is equal, regardless of the non-monster source (pigs, tallbirds, beefalo, the giants).

h) The king pig can rotate his upper body by half a radian (90°) without changing the orientation of his belly or moving his legs.

Excuse me while I'm gone vomiting into the ocean.

Oh wait, I can't because there are invisible walls all along the shoreline.

Especially the guardian horn, because that thing is edible too.

As I found out the first time I got it. Woody realised that keratin doesn't taste very nice that day.

Killing a beefalo that has two horns only has a 33% chance to drop ONE horn, and that said horn can make a hat that has two horns.

Getting actual butter from a butterfly.

You don't need sleep, sleep is for the weak.

A giant spider popping up from 3 balls of webs.

Wigfrid being able to absorb life from foes.

Cooking a live mole makes a Mexican dipping sauce that is made from avocado.

Playing with 2-18 of the same character.

You can go insane and have shadow monsters attack you then be perfectly sane because you ate cactus.

Suffering from malnutrition then eating a giant pot of stew doesn't mess up your stomach.

Using two eggs and two meats to make bacon and eggs, but if you add an extra egg you get meat balls.

Bulb plants.

Bug net braking after catching 10 butterflies

Crabs scaping from you, but when he stops he ignores you completly.

Portable crock pot.

A backpack having less space to put things than your pockets.

YOUR POCKETS.

A cane that makes you walk faster by holding it

Pig men having berries farm.

You can put the following on your head- A Bush, A spider's decapitated head, a watermelon.

Pigmen are easily bought but as disloyal as soon as its the next day.
You can't steal a pigman's house to hide in when it rains... or its winter... seriously kill the pig steal his home. He also has lights in there... but will still eat petals he finds on the ground.

The Pigking has gold... where did he get it and where does he keep it and why does he want your junk? Is he working for Maxwell? Feeding him the info on us...

Wait, so you're telling me you CAN'T do that IRL?

... Well, looks like my friend has some explaining to do.
