Wave after Wave

(You can catch a fish, or not. Your choice Dara.)

Famen thrust his spear into the water and caught a tropical fish. Angelle however was catching fish left and right, sometimes coming out of the water with two fish in her mouth at the same time. Famen lowered the ramp of the boat into the water since the water was shallow to allow everyone back on. After climbing back on board, Famen saw a pillar of smoke in the distance. "Hey, you guys see that?" Famen called out to everyone else.

Kate didn't look at what the man was talking about. She was too busy concentrating on fishing. Suddenly, there was a tug on the poll, and she instinctively pulled up. The reel whirled as whatever was on the line tried to escape, but she quickly grabbed the little handle and fought to reel it in. After a moment, out of the water emerged one of Merterusas's tendrils whatever Chris decides she caught because I know nothing about this expantion!

Wiffleball approximated a sneer and turned away from Meritursas. How was he supposed to help? He hated killing things, even if they were just fish. He had the feeling that the serpent wouldn't appreciate him just standing around, though, so he might as well try to look busy.

Leaning over the boat's railing, he gazed down at the coral below. Yes, that would make a nice keepsake, he decided. He climbed over the rail and jumped, landing safely on one of the many outcroppings of the reef. From there, he began breaking off small pieces of the brightly-colored coral, occasionally hopping to a different rock to collect another color.

Gilda clasped her claws around a dogfish and bit into its neck. The blood from her prey was better than the salt water on her gills. She held onto it tightly and shot up onto a coral rock, clinging for dear life. "HERE'S YOUR DARN FISH!" She spat and the dogfish fell into the water. "Take it and put me back on the boat!" She demanded.

Wheke was brilliant at signal fires but that wooden thing must have been empty or dead because it wasn't coming any closer. They gave up on it and sat on the sand, glaring at the wooden thingamabob.

Gilda jumpped from the rock to the beast and waited angrily for it to move her to the boat ramp or onto the deck it's self. Her gills here burning like nothing else and she was finding it harder and harder to breathe. Her scales itched as if they were alive and writhing.

Having run out of people to threaten and coerce into doing stuff, Meritursas is stuck sitting around with nothing to do.

(Theres still one more, frend!)

Gyx simply stood on thboat, staring at Merisutius with his grey, seawater eyes. He blinked at the irritated sea monster.

Meritursas feels something distinctly negative, though he isn't sure what.  It strikes whenever he thinks about the fish-creature in pain from the water, and him swatting it overboard.  Was all that really necessary?  After all, they were the ones helping him.

He shakes it off, and realizes Gyx is staring at him.  "what."

Finally Jaw resurfaces, holding a fish in his mouth and one in his hand.

"I GOF -ISH!"

He then bites the fish in his mouth and starts munching it, while holding the other fish in his hand up for Meritursas

Jaw comes out of the water with an old booth in his mouth. No luck this time. He spits the boot and turns to Famen.

"THAT? I GO SEE?"

(Jaw's a sharx, his sight isn't  as great as his sense of smell)

(Did the booth have food in it? Or was it one of those useless ticket booths?)

(Ah, there you go.)
