Gyx set the crab down, and it looked cautiously at everything as it scuttled around. Gyx suddenly started ragdolling all over the boat like everyone else, but his face maintained the same neutral expression. He clung on the boats center pole for dear life.Oh wait a minute, he was a fish person, its okay if he falls off. He let go, and the boats turbulent swerving flung him straight into the water.

He still needed to keep up with the pace that the sea monster was carring the boat, so he plunged his sickle into the lower hull of the ship, below the water.

Mark was scared out of his wits, and couldn't stop trembling.

There was just so. Much. Water.

Meritursas was going extremely fast, and was apparently ignoring all the commotion he was causing, what with accidentally making everyone fall to the front of the ship. Without thinking, Mark quickly opened his umbrella. This way he'd slowly float down into safety.

Except he didn't. His umbrella broke and he plunged to his watery grav-

Oh, wait! The dragon stopped his fall!

He owed her his life.

Meritursas finally slams into a large spike about 200 meters from the center of the whirlpool, with very jarring results for his passengers.  Luckily, he doesn't drop the boat.

He peels Julia's corpse off the deck, then tosses it nonchalantly into the center of the storm.  As they watch it slowly spiral into oblivion, they start to notice a strange pinkish-purple tint to the water.  Then dozens of rows of enormous teeth ringing the chasm.  Then a ring of mottled, coral-green flesh surrounding it.  The group barely gets a chance to register this before something equally enormous bursts out of the water, lifting Meritursas into the air.

Noctimus is very light, so when they slam into the large spike, he is launched off his feet and is slammed into the wall. Thankfully it doesn't hurt that much. He starts weeping again though.

Trevor wasn't affected that much. He keeps his guard up incase someone else is.

Famen leans himself sitting up against the side of the boat as the huge monster bursts out of the water, watching what it was about to do. Hopefully Meritursas had everything under control.

The dragon seems surprisingly chill through all of this; like a sea creature driving them into a whirlpool and throwing a corpse into the water so that a bigger sea creature would pick the first one up was something that happened every day when really it only happened on alternating Tuesdays and Thursdays. She saw the humanish fish had somehow missed her and was hanging on to the railing, so she grabbed on to her arm with her beak to pull her up when they slammed into the rock. She just barely held on, having had to bite down harder to keep a grip, and lifted her back up on the ship. Hopefully her arm wasn't hurt too much.

Kate was already sitting against the wall before the sea monster started moving them, so really the only effect that had happened during the trip up to this point was feeling the odd sensation of leaning. Then when he hit the rock the sudden jarring made her head sdlam into the wall. Ow. Then there was the feeling of being lighter and lifting up a little off the floor, sort of like what happens when you first start going down a hill on a rollercoaster. "What the heck is that monster doing out there?!!?"  Kade shouted after he was slammed against the wall.

With her tail, Viridis quickly grabbed Jaw by his tail as he flung around the deck like everyone else, though because of this she was slowly getting pulled out of the wooden floor by the extra weight. As the boat was sent flying, her legs were completely out of the floor flying upwards, hanging onto her claws alone.

"Hang on... sharx... boy!"  Viridis said while she attempted to get her legs back on the floor... but that didn't work, so instead she tried to pull her tail as close to the floor as possible, hoping Jaw could hang onto something else within reach.

Wheke's head hit the mast and they wrapped their tentacles around it, then s/he wrapped their arms around it. Wheke was firmly in place and not going anywhere. "Trevor! Don't fall and die, m'kay?"

Gilda clung to the lizard, hoping she wouldn't dehydrate.
