"That is... great to... hea--" as Viridis talked, her stumach could be heard again. "Ugh! ...!!" in the corner of her eye, she saw a crab. Steadily approaching it, she got ready to strike...

...

But Meritsuras's body movement alerted the crab, and it ran into it's hole.

Viridis sank to the ground with a sigh, and her stumach gurggling in the background.

(Dammit I'm Irish! I deserve a potato!)

What was it with oversized creatures taking the things he needed?! Speaking of which that reminded him, Famen walked over to the sleeping dragon and slipped the bottle out of her pouch. "Is she going to be alright? Meritursas seems impatient to get out of here." Famen asked Mark and Viridis.

After the licking abruptly stopped, Wiffleball opened his eyes to find Noctimus no longer loomed above him. Instead, the shadowy creature lay on the ground nearby, weeping. He gently pushed it away, giving him enough room to stand. Brushing himself off, he tried to remember what Kate was talking about earlier. Something about if he could write...? Yes, that was it. He nodded a few times; he'd seen Matthew write before. Surely it couldn't be that hard.

As Famen reached his hand into her pouch, the dragon started growling, only stopping when he pulled his hand back out. She still seemed to be asleep though.

Kate lifted her head up. She heard the most pitiful crying and whining outside. NURTURING INSTINCTS ACTIVATE It made her heart ache. She stood wobbily and walked up the stairs, finding the black puppy all alone and sobbing. She sat down next to him. "Shshsh... It's ok..." she comforted while stroking his back. Kade, seeming to be easily distracted, followed his sister out of the hold.
