Never mind.But that is right even if they are beside you. They don't pick up everything faster than you. Begin from a corner of the jungle, chop down a big jungle trees with the space-bar until you collect a banana. Give the banana to a monkey and make it fight with another monkey, stay close to pick up the banana drooped. Repeat the action. Once you get ride of the monkeys of one ape prime hut, use a hammer to destroy the hut. The hut drops 3 bananas, so you may have 4 bananas to feed 4 monkeys and speed up the process. OR when I was Wilson, I'd wait til night when they're fighting snakes and destroy they're houses. That kind of works. If not... I don't freaking know... Sleek hat and run up to them and kill them one by one? But, not sure that would even work and with that sanity drain... damn... good luck my friend. Devon Aster Posted December 11, 2015 Share Posted December 11, 2015 Yup, about the only thing you can do is either come armed with some bananas or hope you can snatch one dropping from a tree. I came across an island like this, once. The framerate crawled at one point because of all the monkeys on the screen. Fortunately, if you can get some of them fighting, the ones nearby should peel off to join in and you should be able to hammer a hut in peace and grab any bananas. Just keep repeating the process to whittle them down. It is possible. I managed to clear my own island that way, and ended up with a stacks of morsels and manure as prizes. Actually, you might want to come back with a cargo boat, so you aren't limited to your personal inventory. Also would suggest wearing seashell armor, since it would be easy for you to miss venomous snakes or spiders that might be about. This might be it. @Codsworth, You can actually dispatch with all of those monkeys without too much trouble. They don't attack you if you hammer their huts, so just go around hammering all of them, and hopefully you'll be able to snatch a few bananas before they do. Once you do, bribe as many as you can, and make them fight. The fighting should result in more bananas that you can try to snatch up, and the cycle continues until they're all dead.
