(If we could just reunite the characters, clear up all the unnecessary drama between Judas and Sirus, start building Lefay's storyline, open the magical book which is supposed to make things interesting, maybe kill some fools off, just let all the sh*t hit the fan, we might be able to resurrect it.) Battal Posted March 26, 2016 Share Posted March 26, 2016 The ground explodes in front of the group, showering them in dirt and small rocks. A huge serpentine entity bursts out of the hole. It seems to be made from thousands of vines, all wrapping around eachother. Thousands of spines cover its entire body. For a head, it has a strange crimson bulb. Vilsig pulls Thomas out of the way as a pair of razorsharp spikes burst out of the mound where they were standing. The one headed for Mina regularly breaches the surface, trying to stab her. Battal Posted March 26, 2016 Share Posted March 26, 2016 Vilsig's Serpentvine bursts out of the ground in front of him, then slams down, trying to impale him, crush him, or both. He steps out of the way, and drives his knives into its side. They glance off with a *ping*, as if he was trying to cut a piece of solid iron. It turns around, and the bulb on its head opens, revealing a huge red flower. At the center is a single, bloodshot eye. It quickly closes up and dives back underground. She was, of course, fast enough to stay ahead of the spiky death from below, but even with her quick reflexes the dense fog made it difficult to dodge obstacles. She'd already had a few close calls with nearly impaling herself on spike covered mushroom houses. ~~~~~~ Kate fell flat on her face as soon as Famen let go. She just laid there, petrified. "Kate! The ball! Take out the ball!" It took her a second to register, but she finally remembered the glowing orb in her pocket and took it out. She clung to it like her life depended on it, which it did. At her current speed, it is impossible to stop in time. She slams right into it, impaling herself multiple times and getting very stuck. (Silent, I have a feeling you're going to panic again.
