He searched the small house, and discovered a larger, if not heavily chipped apart, sword. With the rust and lack of detail, it looked like a sword fit for a butcher. Spoiler Now This was a weapon. threw away the pitiful sacrificial dagger that so poorly defended his own life, and hefted up the sword. Her skin was incredibly pale, and her eyes were half closed and vacant. (Just a quick rundown of her current condition if Siris is scanning her or something idk. He found a can of mushrooms in a cabinet, but wasn't sure if they would taste very well. The whole village was surrounded with goop, and might have even been abandoned. Well, whatever was in the can, it sure beat another night of frog legs and fish. He stashed it into his pocket, saving it for night time. She momentarily thought about cutting her way through with her dagger, but judging by how crazy everything here is, they'd probably immediately coil around her, choking and impaling her at the same time. Or maybe even take the slower approach and just restrain her while new spikes slowly grew into her body. Or maybe the vines would burrow into her flesh and grow spikes from the inside out. He would chop them up and recreate his mother's stew. She always made it the same way; cook the green mushrooms, leave the blue ones raw and mix it all together.
