... this were a perfect world and griefers weren't a thing?

How would we see the design of this game improve? It seems like so many of the character debuffs balances are to foil griefers (including kill-everyone-on-sight PVPers), in addition to world mechanics (such as spreading fires).

There will always be people ruining other people's fun.

Willow wouldn't be crippled.

Yep, that's all I could think up.

@Pyromailmann,@RalphKastro, oh guys come on are you so stuck with your pessimism  that it hurts you to just imagine a griefer-free world ? You just have to imagine, the time this aside topic lasts. "It's easy if you try".

I think it would be interesting to guess which changes would still have occurred if there were zero griefing. Like, which characters would be too helpful ? I'm thinking of Woodie and its capacity to farm wood and mine. Maybe he'd be exactly as he is now. Nonetheless he would drop its inventory upon transforming because it wouldn't be stolen.

Maybe Willow would still stop starting fire when low on sanity because I think this was a problem moslty caused by inexperienced players, not aware griefers. Regarding fire, I hope the spreading mechanic would still be a thing because it's realistic and awesome. Insta fires were too punitive to me.

But yeah, the Old Bell would definitely be here.

It will happen, but only when I kill the Capitabeast and the Goverminator.

Joke aside, I have actually found, quite recently, a public server, free from griefers! And boy oh boy, was it awesome; The ancom meter was at its highest capacity!

I actually haven't seen any grievers lately...

Mainly because I invade private servers... and some newer servers who are "password-protected" only to have the said password to be a variant of "12345", "1234567890", "asdfghjkl", "asdf1234", and my favorite, "password" (sometimes with varying capital letters)

Amazing...that's the combination I have on my luggage!

I love you :'D for real

@DamselInDistress, @RalphKastro, well, good news/bad news (for either of you I guess), Servers now aren't like the ones back in the day where you could guess the passwords from reading the server name or defaulting to the usual "12345" or "asdfg"... and by "back in the day" I mean 2-3 months ago...

... This is why I use passwords like "pigbum" or the likes. Though really, I'll usually give it out if people ask for it.

Passwords really are the best solution for griefers...

Anyway, on topic, a griefer free world would have Wilson and I don't know, Wickerbottom holding hands, skipping through a field of flowers with a bright rainbow in the background. Above reads SURVIVOR PALS.

Sounds like a dream.
