Ethel stares at the Varg.

"Let everyone but the guy with the staff, the fire dude, and me go. They didn't do anything wrong but show up.They aren't part of this."

Ethel put his tome away, knowing it can't help him with diplomacy.

"Let you, the fire wielder, and the stick man go?!" the beast laughs the best way a wolf can, and the hounds that were gathering around cackled at the humans ignorance. "The humans believe the proper punishment for killing twenty brothers should be letting them go." The hounds jumped and slobbered with hilarity, they respected the beast and where tickled at his uproar. The ancient  Varg looked about his kinsman with a devilish look in its eyes and turned towards the humans, "You make me make your decisions, and when you do think of something, it's 'let us leave?'" It's demeanor became serious again.

The wolf looked flustered, "Take the shadowy girl (Opal) and the druid (Holly) out of here hounds, they wronged us not." Four hounds skittered out from behind a tree and escorted the two out.

"Now, my question is yet to be answered... What does punishment entail?? I will not pick for you. I want to see what humans believe should happen..."

"What the hell was that all about?" she questioned
