Some of you need to relax a bit.  You can still starve alone if you want to.

 

Gosh!  I hate when people think a game should be played a certain way.  Isn't it better to have the choice of how to play a game?  PvE or PvP?  Multiplayer or single player?  This doesn't change your single player experience at all!

All the naysayers are being INCREDIBLY selfish. I don't think they realize that the game is fully released, Klei has already given us EVERYTHING they promised AND THEN SOME. Since multiplayer is going to be free for us who already own the game, and completely OPTIONAL, they have no room to complain. It's not going to "ruin the mood" if you don't use it. It's not going to affect you at all, so why do you have to complain to the people who have been so good to us as customers?

 

You don't owe us anything else, Klei. That's why I'm so excited for multiplayer. I've sunk over 100 hours into this game and would LOVE to play together with my friends. I ALWAYS wanted a multiplayer function, so this really makes my day.

The post was likely written on a mobile phone and it is often quite difficult to edit your posts on tiny keyboards of some smartphones.

wait wait hold it before we get all serious about this multiplayer thing let me just ask a question...how would this multiplayer work?

 

I see from the concept art of don't starve together  that Wilson is using materials and mobs from in-game to make a machine and a person is coming out of it. so is it like the only way to get into multiplayer is to make a contraption in game?

is it just a option on the main screen that we can choose to use or not?

when we download don't starve together will it just be a separate thing like the reign of giants is like?

let me be more clearer, you see how reign of giants has its "own world" of sorts and you can choose if you want to play it? and if you don't want to play on reign of giants you could just play on vanilla don't starve?

Thank you to improve and polish every detail of this magnificent work of art, because without doubt, this game deserves that rating. 

 

I hope the quality of their work is not degraded, and continue betting strong. "Don't Starve" is not a project that should be forgotten. But I'm sure that you have a good organization about everything, and do not you take one step without calculating what factors went really can go right or wrong. 

 

I'm by advertising (word of mouth) Do all I can call my companions because it deserves a wide audience. On the contrary other overrated bad projects that have an unfair position to be just big companies and invest in mass advertising.

 

I hope collect much money, I am proud to have contributed my bit and followed this from the beginning. I had a good feeling with "Don't Starve", and my instinct did not fail.

Since they use the word "balance", I think they are going to add PvP element.
For me the game don't need to kill each other in order to be fun. Co-op would be better and more...pacific lol.

You know:
In co-op, we together with friends help each other to survival and escape the island.
In PvP, we kill other to survival, the game will become a real mess.

Both? May be but PvP still is a real mess, is it supposed to be a RPG-like game?
