Misaki Posted March 9, 2014 Share Posted March 9, 2014 Either Ham Bat or Dark Sword.Ham Bat for normal use and Dark Sword in case Ham Bat spoils, this -20 sanity per minute is not that bad...I also sometimes use Bat Bat when I'm low on health and strike Chester few times for a bit of health regeneration, however, I never use Bat Bat for real combat. I always have a couple Bat Bats around my camp for healing on stuff. I don't waste the ability for random fighting, though. Invisibool Posted March 10, 2014 Share Posted March 10, 2014 Ever since the update that boosted its power, the Ham Bat is my primary weapon. I kill a lot of Koalefants by using the Boomerang and any other weapon, so I have a pretty consistent meat supply. Tentacle Spikes would be my secondary, mainly because the lower durability than the spear makes me really reluctant to use it for whatever reason. Then again, I'm the guy that doesn't use Beefalo for protection, really, so I could have no clue what I'm talking about, but it's worked for me so far. It doesn't do the most contact damage, but if you're fairly luckythe mini-tentacles will give you a fairly good DPS boost, not to mention the speed bonus. Parrotoss Posted March 11, 2014 Share Posted March 11, 2014 Meh, spear works just as well as any. I don't actively search from a tentacle spike, but I will happily use it if I come across one. I always use a walking cane when given a chance; however. Fairly easy to obtain and being able to attack with a speed boost makes me feel like a God.
