Getting Ready for Reign of Giants.

I wonder what the falling leaves are going to look like, and if the will accumulate on the ground. Will the trees slowly loose leaves over the season or will the just turn pretty colors for fall and drop all of their leaves on the first day of winter?  If the leaves do accumulate over time will we be able to do something with them, or will they be useless like snow?

We’re currently looking at opening up an early Beta to those who really want to get involved as we build out content sometime next month.

Count me in.

I'm excited to hear that there's gonna be a beta for this! Especially since I thought we were told there wasn't going to be one? :???:

Anyway, it's a welcome surprise, and I can't wait! Rest assured, there is no need for me to get ready for Reign of Giants. I've been ready.

Same. (Also, the trees look like something from Dr. Seuss).

Autumn Trees, if You Please. before Winter's Cold Freeze

(Inspired by the works of Dr.Seuss)

There were Regular and Lumpy trees.

With this, the adventurers were pleased.

And in the swamp, Spiky made three,

of the kinds that all we could see.

But after a long time of staying the same,

(the world, characters changed, and Maxwell was to blame,

except for the underground cave terrain,)

suddenly now announced, a new tree name!

For now we'll see besides smooth and lumpy,

(and don't forget the spiky swamp grumpy,)

a tree that is linked to the season of Fall

(unless a giant hits it, then it's not there at all!)

It reminds some people of the Tree that is Birch.

To others they claim, Truffula is  perched.

And yet, to a few, they say a Slime tree,

Well, looking at them,  Insanity!

And this fool, they would would try, to give us all shocks,

claims the tree is the Spawn-home of the beast named Wortox!

But others, they claim, see a Badger-Beaver-Bear thrall

that is as "friendly" as Deerclops, and around that tall!

It appears to be, about Stories four,

for its height, if not a few more!

It growled at everything, like a mad bear,

and the ground started shaking, just everywhere!

So it seems right now, this story is over,

why didn't I stop, near that field of green clover?

If this creature's stay has begun,

if I want to see the next sun,

I must survive, so now off I run!

And with that, my narrative is all done!

(Before my pants were manured, I think I had fun.....)

We're not 100% sure they're giants. However, They Might Be Giants.

And what are we gonna do unless they are?

And what are we gonna do unless they are?

Scream at them, "You're not the boss of me now, and you're not so big!.....life is unfair."
