Please tell me you're adding more "Wickerbooks", because that last one really doesn't seem like it'll change anyone's opinion on her. I honestly can't name a use for it. Free tentacle spikes? That's alright, I guess... She's still just missing something fun that the other characters have.

What are you talking about? Easily one of my favorite tactics for defeating difficult enemies is kiting them through a swamp full of hentai.

Can you picture of plain wilson and wolfgang in there! and I had an Idea for Max! Maybe with his frail tender body! even though he has alot of cool things like dark armor and dark sword maybe he could bring the music box with him.

Since the music box was what They were trying to use to drive him insane (presumably?), maybe when he uses it, it could cost some sanity, but also drive nearby creatures insane, making the shadow creatures attack them.

Don't worry pal, your english is fine, there's room for improvement (sorry I'm so blunt orz) but I highly doubt anyone won't understand you if this is a good example of your general level of proficiencyAnd the little paper whirlwind idea is fantastic, and isn't it already an animation trope associated with fight scenes in loibraries anyway!(By the way, as an inverse of what you're saying, you can always ask me to tone down the language if it's necessary )

William is technically already playable... Unless Klei decides to break a hole in logic and time, we won't be getting two of the same person.

All these upgrades make Wilson seem well....rubbish :(Wickerbottom is too OP. Summon lightning and tentacles? Sanity can easily be restored. I think thats too much for her.

Look at what everyone else has got, then look at what Wilson has.....a beard. Its actually made him redundant as a playable character. Beard serves as a winter hat and can be shaved for beard hair. Both these things can be obtained using any other character. I feel selfish for Wilson.....Please upgrade Wilson too. Surely he has all that awesome knowledge in his mind from Maxwell. EDIT: My view has actually changed on this, after thinking about it more, Wilson is pretty redundant now.

Wilson's beard doesn't take up an equipment spot, so you can wear a football helmet, armor, or a backpack and still not freeze. You can live off a winter with only a heatstone and a stage 3 beard. It also doesn't have durability, so you don't need to waste time re-crafting clothes or making sewing kits.

That's pretty good for the baseline character. Not mentioning you get a constant supply of beard hair without going insane.

EDIT: I thought about this more, and that's not really much of an upside.

At most, I wouldn't mind it if the health penalty for the Meat Effigy did not affect Wilson. There's not much of a balance problem, but he is certainly dull compared to other characters now.

It's not that the beard is equivalent to obtainable gear, it's that he can have the beard AND that gear. He effectively has 4 possibilities for keeping warm, rather than 3 as all the rest do (body, head, heat stone, AND beard). Especially for newbs, that is very significant. Similarly, the easy beard hair is a huge advantage for newbs. He's the starting character. He really needs to be oriented toward new players......and excel at mad science....

i dunno i think not being able to sleep is kind of a big deal, that's my primary way of getting large chunks of sanity back

I'm at day 150. I have so much beard hair its pointless. Yeah I get all what your saying but come on which one of us, who knows how to play and survive are going to play as Wilson after this? If we do it will only be because of the sake that its Wilson and we miss using him.

The only thing I use during winter is a winter hat. I never saw the need for anything else. When its dusk I warm up next to a fire and sort things out in my base. Edit: More options yes. But they are insignificant. Even without his beard I have survived winters with only a heat stone and the odd winter hat if I remember to make it :)Surely one of you must have thought Wilson needs something special?Personally I dont think there should be any easy, normal, hard mode set off characters. Looking at all of them I see nothing challenging using them. They are all now very fun to play as and have all got awesome updates and are all equally unique. Wilson has just been pushed to one side. Oh yes, I take every chance I can get to interject that Wilson should have advantage when/if Mad Science ever makes it into the game. Also to interject that Mad Science should be put into the game. To me it would be worth Wilson staying as he is for 3 months more, if only I knew that eventually these things would come to pass.

Edit: And ya, I wasn't suggesting that one needs all four things to keep warm. But with the beard, you have more options to wear other non-warmth stuff. Like packs or helmets. Or have an extra inventory space if you don't like heat stones. More options, is what I was saying.
