It's a reanimated version of the classic ones now.

So there are animation changes, its a TINY bit slower and smoother looking now. You can notice it in the side angle best.

As others have said, they mentioned in the Stream they had intended to push out Atrium locating changes, but forgot during the development, meaning it'd be coming later.

The way it was added is really fun, I love it!

You can manually choose which fires to stoke, so this means you can't accidently use a long range fire to set a mob on fire and let it get out of hand.
Also, her fires that stick onto mobs don't spread, meaning you don't have to worry about messing up combat with the perk at all.

It's a total win-win. I'm stoked!!

attack animation change is nice. nice to see the new one get polished like i was thinking.

Love the gloom bell change. possessed atrium is in a good spot as a crafting ingredient now, i think.

checked, its more 'reverted' than updated, and thank GOD for that i played the update today and i after 2 seasons of playing i still can not stand the changes. only noticed that the side anims also had NO acceleration either, so bad for no reason lmao

If I understand correctly, thorns damage = 14 and digestion/eating damage = 390 right?

While testing seems good now with the numbers, but I will update more in depth in my post in the next few hours.

Guys there are sneaky changes again! New great depth worm eating, munching and gulping sounds! They're cute lol

Also just for feedback: I'm totally fine with the current attack animations now. As long there isn't that awkward sequenced looking pause and nonchalant side smack to the back view anymore, I take it.

'This makes it so you can stoke the fire after it's been lit to change it into spreadable fire.'

I'm also pretty disappointed. I felt the new animation had some good ideas. Helped especially with positioning between the deer while fighting Klaus.

They never said it will a rework. They simply said they have something planned about the atrium. Most likely something related to how we locate it since that was the them of the question they answered

Could be for nothing after all. (hur dur)

Like if they want players to find the Atrium the "right" way aka by killing tentapillars, they did a rather not so good job. The main issue with people doing voidwalking is because they don't want to kill those damn pillars again and again. Sure, they having 750 hp are barely a thing but do that onto like 6 tentapillars that could be EVERYWHERE in the huge caves area are tedious as hell.

Like sure, there were some patterns when the tentapillar in the muddy biome could lead to Atrium but that's not reliable.

Bridges having 6 tiles limit is also a weird choice. I'd love it if they can go on forever and allow players to do bridge branches.
