Cool idea i like it in theory, but i dont think this fixes it since using 6 kelp on guard merms will recruit 36 merms in a large area so most the time it wont be worth getting.

 

Maybe add the ability to dismiss followers too somehow using it? I also had a few other suggestion for it before too related to making merms automatically do tasks without Wurt making them followers.

I want to mention it in particular: This is normal sleep resistance.

Using a pan flute once isn't sleep applications once, it's ten.

Most mobs sleep resistance is between 2-4, which is why almost all mob can be put to sleep through use pan flute once. but a Crab Knight without any gem sleep resistance is 12, and 1 pearl + 5 purples is 32.

As a contrast: a Enlightening Snare/Sleep Dart hit increased by 1, Bearger's snore increased by 7.

 

This whole thing is insane.

  • Fixed bug where dismantled G.E.M.erators may duplicate gems when loading.
  • Fixed Charged Elding Spear being unequipped on save load cycles.
  • Fixed items keeping their water effects when teleporting to a Teletransport Station.
  • Fixed mosquitos spawned by Skeeter Bomb not following the thrower properly. 
  • Fixed Crab King Mobs not being able to spawn.

I’m grateful for that you very much for such good changes. Thanks to klei After all, the wurt Skill Tree has become the one we only dreamed of before!

As well I wanted to say that it was good if wurt could craft merms items (even if wurt did it 2 times more expensive), in addition to being able to get them from dead merms, it's just a little sad that the only way to collect them is the death of  brethren.

Also, on the subject of helmets, it would be cool if she could wear at least a Swamp Brawler Helmet, I understand that on other characters it looks a little broken and sloppy, so I suggest that of all the characters, only wurt could wear this helmet (on her it looks like a native one)

The animation for using merm tools seems to be a little bit broken.

I also find it strange that Nightberry's Food Type is Generic and not Veggie. Maybe a good idea also add Worm Light Fuel Type to them, as it would be cool to have an alternative source of Worm Light Fuel. Moreover, the Glow Berries and Nightberries are very similar in appearance and are also associated with light. Perhaps this might suggest that Nightberries could be related kinship to Glow Berries.

Honestly it's more useful than it looks even some merms from off screen will come running when Wurt yells and the aoe recruitment is still in effect so you'll recruit all merms in the entire area in seconds due to how fast they are.

This saves so much time so much time it's basically a must have skill.

As for dismissing merms it's not the most ideal but murdering a fish exists however if they were to add another way to do it I think adding a option to dismiss merms with little itchy might be a fun idea.

I hope klei will add larger or smaller boats in the future
the ones we got are akward to row on if there is a structure and its too small to fight on it and kite properly
I would love to have shipwrecked boats in the game or some bigger boats for a whole server (of course they would cost much more than the ones we have)

A second attempt. If you place the structure close to the CK it really defeats you. At the distance of the video, it's going well.

Just a feedback, I feel the ice boats in CK fight end up harming the player instead of helping.

In the sharkboi island, the ice boat can be used to return to your boat since the island breaks from outside, while in CK the ice tiles break from inside.

Does it make sense?

I wouldn’t say I’m completely against sleep immunity but purple gems also boost the HP of guards so if we’re not sleeping them then we’re spending a lot more time killing them. You are not offering a better way of dealing with guards, you’re just removing a singleplayer strat from one of the few combinations of gems that was actually tenable.

Seems like green gems are the way to go now.

You can still sleep crabs by using flute 2-3 times. Now its reasonable to combine different types of gems and not going all in on one type. Regarding difficulty of gems I rank them like this:

From Best to Worst:
Orange -> Green -> Purple -> Yellow -> Blue -> Red

Maybe this wasn't in the patch notes, but it looks like the spacing for the new seeds has changed? Really disappointed when visiting my sprouting bed to find that the placement radius seems to be huge.

Seeds in the bed were planted before this update.

Any chance of bringing the seed planting Radius back down? Or at least not so large? Pretty disappointing change.

How big are the gaps after they mature? Is it just enough for the player to fit through? That would probably be the intent.

It is the mosquitos spawned now work like normal followers with their ai similar to Wickerbottoms grumble bees however they will still explode like normal but now it won't hurt players.

Be warned though wurt can still hurt herself with the bombs themselves if your not careful with your aiming.

They won't attack your followers but it's still not recommended to use them at the same time as merms since the merms will often rush to the enemy your targeting before the bomb lands leading to the ones hit turning on you.

Also if you throw a skeeter bomb in a area that already has mosquitos it won't hurt the mosquitos but it will cause the merms to target the mosquitos causing infighting so the way I see it mosquitos can be the followers you use when merms aren't ideal and the feeder makes picking them back up when you want to switch followers much easier.
