This was not specified in the patch notes but beefalo are now protected from bramble husk as well. Thank you so much for this change Klei! :love_heart:

Edit: except sometimes they're not...? Not entirely sure, investigating now.

Edit Edit: Please note this only applies to beefalo that have saddles. Bell and taming does not make any difference.

You missed one big important fix, Jessie. It's still missing in game. It's still sad...

Speaking about beefalo, with all the differents ways to get poop now in the game, can we please make tamed beefs not dropping poop? :) pretty please :)

I would be a bit sad personally. It can sometimes be a bit of a pain having to scrape down a megabase of poop every once in a while, I know from experience, but I'm personally really thankful for that constant passive flow of manure. There's certainly a lot of ways to get manure, but I never even have to seek those out so long as I've got a beefalo friend!

You mean with all the ways of switching to wormwood to make things poop themselves*

and no, I don’t want to have to switch to WW to obtain poops Beefalo are like the horses of DST, you don’t complain when your horse in red dead online opens its butt flap and handles it’s business so why should we want Beefalo to magically poop less?

Im not sure what you do with your Beefalo/Beefalos, but if you Hitch it to a post when not in Use it won’t poop all over your base.

I do enjoy that it does poop though, cause I can use that as farm fertilizer or campfire fuel.

Some way to manually make them stop producing manure would be a lovely addition. The clean up gets quite tedious after a while.

How about adding a feature to the Dreadstone pillar to be able to prevent wildfires in its vicinity?, like Above-Average Tree Trunk. The pillar is currently very expensive, and this additional feature could be beneficial. As a Megabase operator, I no longer wish to stay in caves or the Oasis Desert during the summer.

Mike if you think the only way to get insane ammount of poop is with ipacacas, that just shows that sometimes we shouldnt go out of our way to reply to every single post in a forum :)

also not every creature drops poop so why do the beefs? Also want to have that passive poop on base? Get a Koala.

You play DST SOLO so clearly you never get to a point where worlds are filled with poop from everyones tamed beef.

I can understand it being sometimes usefull for some, but its such a niche case, and like i said you have other ways, like koalas, to get your passive poop collection.

Your last sentence is grasping a bit for straws. You can use anything for a campfire and a few poop will not do you much as a farm fertilizer

You can just leave a single manure in a small enough cage and then your beefalo will no longer poop. No need for constant clean up. Only let your beefalo out when you need to use it

I don't really see the reason to get rid of every single thing that might slightly inconvenience the player

Its particularly bad in multiplayer servers. Solo i dont mind as much but in multiplayer it gets crazy with everyones tamed beef.

Koalas provide passive poop too so there are still alternatives. Also im only talking about a fully domesticated one, until then, specially early game you would still have a bit of poop.

I still understand how this can be a devided opinion :) just ny two cents when not even creature poops why should my fully domesticated do :)

We sure about first method? That only works if you are in the same zone, the moment you go out of range of that poop he will do it again.

I dont see the reason to have so many inconvenience specially when only a few creatures passively drop poop. Its not like every single one of them do.

And this one, tamed, just so happens to infest worlds with poop everywhere the more players a server have.

Again i can see how people will be in different sides of the argument here.
