    • [Balance] Rework inspiration to work for non-bosses by having the drain be lowered (make her lose inspiration on hit as a downside)
    • [Downside] Lose inspiration on hit
    • [QoL] Music book item that can hold multiple songs
    • [Balance] Fireproof falsetto (renamed to Burning Rime) 66% dmg reduction against fire and freezing + freezing effects are 50% less effective
    • [New] Wigfrid completes hunts faster than other characters
    • [New] Ability to throw battle spear (similar to forge)
    • I don't like any of the above options
    • Something else (comment below)

I would like the short songs to not use inspiration and instead of on a global "short song" cooldown, as well as reduced casting time. Having them use inspiration makes them pretty unappealing to use in a lot of cases, and it would be a great way to mitigate her lack of AOE damage.

Any changes that include any buffs are insane. If you want completely busted character just browse the wonderfully "balanced" community mod characters :biggrin-new: She is already one of the easiest (boring) characters to play through the game very safely. You just face tank everything.

I do agree that the useless songs need to be reworked as i see people only ever use the health and sometimes sanity one. I personally try to use the fear one but I end up realizing that I'm moreso just roleplaying and it's totally unnecessary.

I am probably in the minority opinion, but I wish the strongest characters were tweaked to have more downsides so I could have fun playing them again. The meat only downside is a joke for anyone with more than 20 hours play time in the game.. then again, I understand the idea of having easier characters and also challenge characters to cover all the playstyles.

Yeah but the worst song rn probably would be rude interlude. During hunts gaining koalefants aggro is a necessity pretty much and i cant gain aggro by using the song without inspiration so i have yet to use this song and/or find a scenario where i could use it startling soliquoy is nice for bee queen and hound waves but when it comes to bq i have to literally spam the song over and over and it doesn't always activate in time needin like 3 sec for it to activate leaving me vulnreable and if i want to use it on hounds i have to fight them first which is a death wish end game.

Remove life steal and sanity gain and buff the sanity and health gain songs maybe? That would make it not possible to farm health and sanity on every existing mob.

Yeah wilson is balanced too thats why nobody plays as him. Each character should have a unique role in the team but we have a variety of characters that happen to be on both sides of the spectrum when it comes to bad good and op so balance doesnt matter anymore as long as playing a certain character isn't a cake walk.

Startling S word should be a character ability with a cool down timer that doesn’t need a book to craft or Inspiration- I just picture Vikings and War Cry.

Inspiration Meter drains too fast to be of any use outside of a boss fight and I’d really like to be able to actually use her abilities outside of a boss fight.

This was her shot to get new gameplay content.. Woodie charges through crowds and pounds the ground with AoE, Wolfgang throws projectiles through the air, WX78 got free infinity night vision, Webber got to sleep in spider nests & upgrade/downgrade them at his own free will- but Wigfrid well she was as the community said “mostly fine as is”

Probably nobody plays with him because he doesn’t have a unique perk and is probably the most balanced character overall. And when a character have a perk also ppl wanted to don’t have downsides and have a crazy op perk or no one is happy at all.

I dont see a problem with this since she already has the natural damage absorption. Then again, I doubt enough people would support any nerfs. People like easy mode apparently. That's why half of servers are wendy and wanda :wilson_laugh:

That change would make her more of a bard instead of a tank. I don't see how wanda is an easy character she requires skill and precision fitting for a clockmaker character.

I guess, but the 200+ damage per second at whip range sure helps. However, I did mean to say Wigfrid in regards to my point.

I main both wigfrid and wanda and I would like for wigfrid to be changed. Get rid of her base life steal and sanity increase as well as her dmg reduction and dmg increase. And instead focus more on her songs making them better then they are already and providing increased dmg dmg reduction and lifesteal(higher than her base) and give it to her team as well. Starting with her helmet and weapon is fine I guess but I don't think she should be able to craft it so easly. It would be nice if she could craft more than 1 type of weapon and helm unique to her(she's a viking after all) and give her some kind of anvil/anvil prop that would fit with her character(and of course only she would be able to use that crafting station).

For now wigfrid is not op she's just an easy character that only provides some life steal and higher weapon durability to the team which barely means anything the rest of her songs are not as impactful. 3/10 kinda rework.

Wilson is the third most played character.

So does Wanda? Being able to get an additional hit off on a few enemy attack-kite circles doesn't wildly shift the scales in her favor. I'd argue a wolfgang might be able to close the gap if not overtake wanda if he's proactive with maintaing the celestial crown due to the fact he would swing more faster, allowing for more gestalts to spawn
