UbiAnomaly Posted February 5, 2022 Share Posted February 5, 2022 Some quick maths: 3 Terrorbeaks amounts to 1200 HP 9 Crawling Horrors amounts to 2700 HP Assuming that the player in question is sufficiently alright at juggling mobs, the Terrorbeaks shouldn't be a huge amount of trouble. Not only that, but 9 crawling horrors is enough that they will start to push each other around, making them nigh impossible to actually kite in a large group. The terrorbeaks fight lasts less time, has a lesser risk of getting hit, and is generally in my opinion easier. Needless to say, this is assuming that you actually fight them instead of running away, in which case the answer is always crawling horrors. Also crawling horrors do less than half the damage compared to terrorbeaks. Either way you're just fighting frogs or toadstool I picked crawling horrors because I'm better at fighting when i have room to breathe, and these things are pretty slow. Juny Pear Posted February 5, 2022 Share Posted February 5, 2022 Hands down 3 terrorbeaks. They may be fast and may hit hard, but kiting's never let me down for that. With 9 crawling horrors on you it will be far more difficult to get hits in, as they will push each other during their attacks on top of the teleporting messing you up likely. Plus once you do take down one or two of the terrorbeaks, your sanity will probably be above the insanity threshhold, and thus theres no big danger left. Cheggf Posted February 5, 2022 Share Posted February 5, 2022 Three terrorbeaks. They have a bit more speed and damage but for the most part aren't really that much worse than crawling horrors. Nine horrors would just keep colliding with each other and be way harder to dodge since they're sliding during their attacks from all the shoving. The terrorbeaks may move faster but the horrors would move while attacking which is a thousand times worse. Nine horrors also have a lot more cumulative health.
