Wanna remove all reminders that them liberal developers have a secret grudge against your character and now you wanna remove any agency they have on your property because of it? Here at Sneed's Feed and Seed, we have the answer for YOU! Just follow this here tutorial on how to reverse it and go back to before the gut-wrenchin', park avenue update where them liberals turned your HUNK into a city slicker! (Don't forget to backup them files boy!) Ez Version: 1.) Download- (https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1yCs2u75Q14x4HeQxCf_oQFvtjGEvfYLW?usp=sharing) 2.) Go to your Steam\steamapps\common\Don't Starve Together, copy-paste them files in. 3.) Run DST and enjoy playing the patch before the fancy German rework. If THAT don't work for ya, here's a more tailored way: 1.) Download latest version of .Net SDK on your OS. (https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download) 2.) Download latest version of DepotDownloader. (https://github.com/SteamRE/DepotDownloader), and extract it to any folder. 3.) Go to your Steam\steamapps\appmanifest_322330 in your steam directory and open it as a text doc. 4.) Ctrl + F search for "InstalledDepots", the number in the brackets right after'll give you your DepotID. Remember or write down your ID's. 5.) Go to https://steamdb.info/app/322330/, AppID for DST is 322330 for you slow folk. Go to Depot's and see which one of 'em DepotID's matches yours. 6.) Click on it and go to "Manifests" and get the ManifestID of the patch you want. 7.) Go back to where you extracted your DepotDownloader files to and make a .bat file. 8.) Enter this in: dotnet DepotDownloader.dll -app [AppID] -depot [DepotID] -manifest [ManifestID] -username [SteamUsername] -password [SteamPassword] Replace bracketed examples with the info and no brackets. Make sure to string it together good or it won't run. 9.) Save and run .bat file, it'll give you a command prompt, feed it whatever info it sneeds and wait for the download to complete. 10.) Go back to your DepotDownloader folder and a new folder called "depots" will appear. Navigate to where the steam files are stored. 11.) Copy 'em and paste 'em in your Steam\steamapps\common\Don't Starve Together directory. 12.) Run DST. There. Liberals BTFO. Wolfgang no longer a city-slicker. penguin0616 Posted December 21, 2021 Share Posted December 21, 2021 While I am very hesitant to download any files they provided directly, the method they listed with DepotDownloader is valid. I use DepotDownloader frequently. You should definitely not be putting a username and password into a batch file though. It will allow you to play previous patches, but you won't really be able to play with anyone else who isn't on the same version. Mods will probably not work as intended either.
