I remember there was a delay with the lightning rod too until we got it, and I'm yet to get the salt box skin in game inventory. Today Twitch shows nothing on the Inventory page except a "Claimed" section with the briny icon and portrait. Drops used to reset on Thursdays, does it happen sooner now? I thought I had today to get that last 14% and claim the drop. To test it, I just tuned in for 15 minutes to an approved streamer (BlaBlaLogia_ttv) and still no progress on the drop is showing on the Twitch Inventory page. What's broken here? But after asking the same and questioning the hiatuses, I was told in Discord that they are caused by Twitch and their new reward system. Apparently the drop campaigns can be held for a maximum two weeks in the new twitch drops system. It seems designing a new skin every two weeks would be a bit overwhelming for the team thus we ended up with 2 week drops and 2 week hiatuses. Twitch should increase their maximum campaign times to 4 weeks or allow developers to re-hold previous campaigns. me real life Posted May 25, 2021 Share Posted May 25, 2021 I think the short period between skins makes sense for streamers. If the skin campaigns were running all the time, then anyone not on the list of drops-enabled streamers would have to go weeks without getting like any new viewers due to their lack of drops. This way there's a fair period where anyone can stream on equal footing and then drops get temporarily enabled for the ones who streamed the most.
