I went underground and found a walking cane, killed ancient guardian and got a lazy explorer, then found another walking cane near the oasis. Fun times. The main reason as to why is seeds still have a few inconsistencies (mainly with setpieces like the marble sculptures and where the heads spawn), and I believe they want to iron those out before they give an actual seed function. To add on to what Clifford said, an API, aka Application Programming Interface is basically a defined way of how to interact with certain program. A good example is DST console command, it's defined that you can spawn object on your mouse by entering c_spawn("A") where you put the code of item in place of A. The whole set of commands and the documentations on how to use the command makes it a kind of API. Tallbird fortress by spawn, waking cane survivor next to it with pig king and frog ponds with cave and bees?
