Since when was this changed? I’ve always been able to re-spec skill tree perks on Xbox. Atleast as Wilson..

If you want they to read something just write in the forum normally and the person in charge to read the forum will read it when they have the time for it

What I would be messaging them is a question that no one has been able to answer so my plan is to go straight to the source and it’s only one message for each in order to increase the  probability that one has a spare time to answer   The reason I wanted a why to reach all at once is so I can get it done in one fell swoop

You kinda proved the point that @arubaro made in his answer.

So one person gave you the shadow hand, but the rest probably just jumped on the "Shadow hand wagon", so dont worry too much, they would've given other reactions but choose the shadow hand as someone did before.

The only way I know to discharge the Volt Goat is to wait for it to return to normal which takes like 3 in game days (24 minutes which is a lot)

So unless you’re playing Maxwell with full lightning protection spamming Shadow Prison for 24 minutes straight then I would recommend building an indestructible pen for the Volt Goat out of either Statues, End Tables or Fossils before teleporting in the Volt Goat.

Or an even easier method would be to build a Lightning Rod near where you’re teleporting the Volt Goat FROM and use the Telelocator Staff there, but I’m not sure if it works because lightning priorities striking Volt Goats more, the same way it does WX-78 and Lightning Rods.

Overall I recommend still giving the Lightning Rod method a try (or maybe multiple) first before having to build an indestructible pen. 
You could even post the results here to help out other players with the same problem!

You're overthinking it.

A wrangler is an individual that subdues unwieldy animals.

Adding "Shadow" implies that Woodie is subduing the shadow creatures.

I meant that lightning priorities striking Volt Goats, Lightning Rods and WX-78 (all the same) more then normal/usual objects and not Volt Goats getting prioritized over Lightning Rods and WX-78, but I do appreciate you clearing up any misunderstanding (even if I said it correctly in the full sentence right here)
