What would you do differently with my Wilson skill tree? I'm interested in other points of view. I plan to spend the last point on Lunar Innovator when I get that far.

Shadow side has more enemies pre rift stage and Lunar side has more enemies post rift stage. So for me, picking Shadow Courtier after entering rift stage is a better option. Not only that, but combining Shadow Courtier with BS Sword + BS Helmet lets you kill BS vines with one less hit. Which might not seem much. But it actually helps a lot.

Biggest issue I see here is the gem transmutations. They are not a bad skill, but they add nothing to your gameplay. My advice would be that remove the gem skills and add your insight points to Ore transmutation/Beard growth. You can always horde your gems and use Celestial portal to Craft Iridescent or ruins tier gem.

As for the torch tree, I personally think that torches are way too weak to use 3 insight points. Before the Host of Horrors, I used to either fully max them and use them in cave emergency situations or just never bother with them on surface.

One thing with Wilson is that even though his skill tree almost adds nothing to his gameplay, it makes him (Unfortunately) one of the best pick and switch character out there. The problem is, Changing at the Celestail Portal removes your only real perk, Beard storage.

So my final suggestion is don't forget about the beard growth skills. Tier 3 Beard growth makes your beard grow with 2/5/10 days.(Normally it's 4/8/16) Which is -considering that every beard stage is a free inventory slot- really good.

Don’t Starve Qualified as a RogueLite/Like because death was permanent and lead to complete progress deletion, You earned EXP and leveled up to unlock new characters for future playthroughs that made it easier to survive.

DST have those features too, then it should qualify as a rogue like.

Mainly the Adventures Game Mode (a doorway found somewhere in your sandbox world) was what made DS a RogueLite.

True. But here's the thing, rogue likes have a definitive end. Like there are only 5 levels in adventure mode, Griftlands' story lasts 5 days etc etc. Don't Starve however has no end, there's just endless survival, the game doesn't stop once you've made it to day 100. This is not rogue like.

yes, if u buy as gift to friend. that friend will have the game and extra copy that can be gifted to another.

Geez, I'd like to gift the one I purchase to a friend and the extra copy to another friend. Such a shame =\

Unfortunately, once you have the game any future purchase will be bought as a gift.

Why does PC version get an extra copy to gift to friends anyway?

You can obtain gems from Tumbleweeds, and Sunken treasures, or Varg Farms (if you wanna set one of those up) You can also obtain them from sleeping near a decorated winters feast tree if WF event is turned on.

Why does the Astral Detector have a durability that’s only good for 10 uses? I went through pure hades to obtain this thing & it’s only purpose is to find celestial champion quest parts.

At or before 10%, you can hammer it after placing (before it finishes) to get full materials back and craft a new one.

Because Steam has support for games granting you an inventory item of a giftable copy of the game upon purchase, and I'm assuming consoles don't.

Just to troll people, I think.

I read that on Wiki, but WHY??? It just seems like an outdated, obscure mechanic that only exists to troll & punish players who don’t read every little detail about the game on Wiki pages.

In my opinion this thing should probably just have infinite durability.. unless it has some other uses I’m unaware of right now, but even if it does- Hammering it let’s you redeploy at 100% anyway.

Does it have any additional usages besides finding the two buried Celestial Champion parts?

Technically you can figure that out yourself, not a big deal.

It can be used to locate crab king and celestial altar pieces on the lunar island, it also acts as an infinite light source once you've got all altar pieces out.

So it’s a Redeployable endothermic firepit?
