Lol yeah my bad I’ve read so much dst wiki in the last 10 hours, I’ve stayed up all night playing the game and watching my thanksgiving foods so the house didn’t catch fire over night,

(also with all the steps required to obtain an astral detector it probably should retain the moon callers cooling effect tbh..)

In my opinion this thing should probably just have infinite durability.. unless it has some other uses I’m unaware of right now, but even if it does- Hammering it let’s you redeploy at 100% anyway.

I think wormwood's less of a specific plant then the concept of a parasite.

Basic Tirumphant wormwood looks pained in the portrait skin, and when Wormwood blooms, the parasite grows more powerful and emerges. His head much less grows as much as it splits open.

i think the eye is the berry too

and  I think the growth is the strongest he can get whale infused with shadow that’s why his tale leaf gets gradually better in condition and the rut like things cover his eye slits because there connecting him them to the big eye so he can see better and why there’s a small amount of growth 

I don’t know why the feet ,hands, and blooming head are spiky maybe the plant is prickly or it’s just a shadow thing and the only red flowering ones looked nothing like wormwood Klei probably just capitalized on the red tips of the green kind shown in the picture to get that shadow side red

shadow perk allows you to comfortably fight any boss with an insanity aura as weremoose aside from rift bosses and FW solo, lunar perk is ig the only way to play if you have a wickedbottom that often forces full moon or moonstorms

It's not a parasite, it's a plant. The appearance reminds me of carnivorous plants (e.g. venus flytrap) and jungley plants (e.g. rafflesia), which would be fitting for the "evil eye" since they rely on bait to lure their prey in, and the growth resembles a berry. But I'm not sure exactly what plant it's based on.

Before I assemble all these parts to summon the CC what kind of armor & gear am I even expected to use? I’ve made it as far as I have mostly on Darkswords & Eye Masks, but I’m pretty sure this boss is going to want armor and weapons I don’t even know how to reasonably craft.

I just want to unlock the MoonStorm events

once you assemble all three alters the moonstorm is activated, and it doesn't summon celestial champion... yet

the moonstorms themselves feature wagstaff and his annoying minigame of finding and giving him unlabeled tools while birds try to attack

with the moonstorms, imo the best armor is probably going to be the shield of terror since it'll protect you from the birds while also allowing both the wagstaff potato goggles and backpack/clothing

once you get all the materials from the moonstorm, the best armor is purely subjective based off of how good you are at the fight; but if it's your first time and you already have dark swords you might as well use night armor. celestial champion does really high damage, and combined with the absurd sanity aura the champion gives, the most important things are probably going to be keeping your sanity low and your health high; night armor does both. for head, just use whatever you find convenient to use. the bone helm gives the most utility in the fight by consistently keeping your sanity low at all times, but it requires killing ancient fuelweaver

tl;dr shield of terror for moonstorms and night armor/bone helm/whatever for celestial champion

I for one go with 2-3 Thule Crowns (per CC fight) & Bone Armor. I presume for you is 1st time ever vs CC, so most likely more than 3 Crowns (over 5 to be on the safe side, you'll probably tank quite much). Also have NF to resupply BA. As for weapons, I go with Shield of Terror (and some Red Shrooms to heal it) + 1-2 Thulecite Club(s). Dark Swords also go, either made in situ or on-the-go via 1x NF stack and Living Logs. Or can solely go with Hambat. Being 1st fight use Glommer Goop for both HP regen and to lower sanity (optional: build a Lazy Deserter close-ish and repeatedly touch it when sanity goes too high). Can likewise opt for Green+Blue Shrooms, but more inventory space is occupied. Of note: at any moment you can pause fighting by going a bit further from CC, it will stay in place and won't regen HP - CC fight is way more relaxed and forgiving compared to the cramped Atrium arena you fight AFw. Gl!

If it makes you feel any better @Mike23Ua, my first time vs CC took 45 minutes. I went in blind. Nowadays its usually a 8-12 minute fight with a default strength character. Every seed needs time to grow.

A spiky 5-pronged star with every prong having the correct outer and inner color in the right pattern + an eye thing in the middle, I think it's gotta be that. The spikes look a little different and the eye thing looks very different, but I can't imagine any plants look more similar than that.

why glass and charged glass falls from the sky when a rift is open which means that alter is resting but when they is awake not?

if it falls from the sky would make sense that is alter, the big thing in the sky, who make it fall, not a portal to another dimension

why there is only little gestals in the moon island but behind it there are greater gestals?

 

all these return of them and from beyond arc feels like isnt well though

so basically glass is just water frozen because of moon power.

charged glass as u said or infused shard will turn into regular glass. and when u in storm it made from a lighting strike. i guess hail is just frozen rain cus moon power and some is charged because of lightning .

Was regenerating a old world to play as Woodie, and for some reason insight didn't reset?

I haven't used Woodie on this server before (was previously using Wortox and Wendy), does anyone know a), why this is the case and b) how to reset it?
