Survey on some features of Wormwood

  1. 1. Do you think Wormwood, when he suffers fire damage, should he be able to set fire to the structures?

  2. 2. Do you think the Bramble Husk should protect as much as a log suit?

  3. 3. Do you think Wormwood should have more interaction with Eye Plants?

I've already said my share about the bramble husk in the other thread; but as for the eye plants I'm not too sure. The whole "friendly to plants" perk was mostly useful in hamlet, so translating it over has obviously decreased it's value.

Still, I think Wormwood can cultivate Lureplants pretty well already. They don't just give you leafy meat you know. You can use them to harvest grass, twigs, and even birds too. Check out the wiki on them for more info if you're curious.

I thank you for the advice!
I thought Eye Plants would digest their content too quickly for use as "automatic binders" :D

And that's what makes a poll a bad poll. I'll make my leave.

Hey you.

Stop that.

*cough*

I really want Wormwood to still be flammable by means of open fires and campfires, it's such a unique perk/downside. However, I'm all for disallowing him to spread fire with his own body. It'd allow people to actually trust Wormwood players instead of shunning them out for being a natural fire hazard.

In RoG, the Bramble husk served two purposes: Being able to pick cacti/thorny bushes, and naturally hurting attackers. While the former is a decent niche and the latter is cool, Having 60-65% (forgot exact) protection is not worth the materials, especially when other characters can craft more cost-effective items (ex: wigfrid, gold and rocks are easy to come by, while bone shards are not, at least after mid-game when all the desert bones are hammeed.)

Also, More interaction with eye plants would be wonderful. It'd give them a great niche and would allow leafy meat farms in mid-game, along with possibly giving sub-par protection from things like hounds.

Stop what? Trying to get the OP to change the poll to be more neutral and better display the opinions of the forums?
Sure thing, it's almost like I already said I would leave—and look at that they actually took my criticism, so there's no problem anyway.

There was literally no reason to quote me here. Please don't do so unless you have a reason to.

True, after thinking about it for a while I thought that maybe I had given the answers too personal a mark. It's all good, people. :afro:

let me repeat a phrase you said (and deleted)

"And that's what makes a poll a bad poll. I'll make my leave."

It just stroked me as a tad of a drama starter. Saying things like "I'll make my leave" is something that almost 100% of the time comes off as someone being pretentious and assuming they've won an argument.

If I misinterpreted this, then rip me.

I'm pretty sure dung irl is very flammable

Irl dry dung is used as combustible indeed, but not fresh and humide manure. Also I am not invented it, you can already extinguish smoldering things using manure in game :p

What about not scaring away Carrats, and Grass geckos? He could just walk up and harvest the geckos.

He could befriend the gekkos to follow him for a while (like the Catcoon), receiving 1 grass extra after some minutes.

I'm curious about what the community thinks of some of the features that Wormwood will have on DST.
As usual, I hope that Klei will take note of the results, whatever they are.

Reference discussion on which the survey is based.

he is not gonna catch on fire in summer from overheating... just takes more fire dmg IF he catches  fire... that's completely different

in Hamlet he catches fire from Lightning actually ... not overheating... question 1 needs to be left out ...

Huh, I'll have to check up on that when I get home. You learn something new every day with this game. Thanks man
