harmonium Posted April 22, 2019 Share Posted April 22, 2019 Hello, At end game i have problem with log commutes everything take lot of time to reach thing from my base, would be cool to have a nice teleport, end game item or Something who can help to link two place. That would cost lot of Energy but the trade off is nice if i can gain lot of time doing my stuff. What did you guys think ? Maybe a mod can do it ? And it should really be posted in the suggestions forum. A good question to ask is why you think you need it. If you have long commutes then maybe you haven't planned out your base properly to make sure dupe operated machines are close to where the dupes actually are. Literally the only thing that really needs to be dupe operated, and can't be moved to a logistically better position is oil wells. And you have maximum 3 of those. However, I do very much see a reason for Teleporters, both a Dupe version as well as a debris version. Sometimes you just need to move things a very long distance, and it takes a lot of time, even with Tubes, for a Dupe to move that distance. And in the end, you can move debris out of an area pretty effectively with a Conveyor and a Sweeper, but you can't effectively bring construction materials in that way. Each use would use maybe 2400 power or Something.
