Snob
"Giant edition" is coming! Probably means it's gonna come packaged with the Giants DLC. Personally, I'm pretty excited for the Wii U gamepad functionality.
Zomsabra
Wii U has been having a somewhat good year in terms of games from what I've heard. So now its getting even better.

Ixmore
Well I did hear an advertisement on the radio about an Indie game convention that was hosted by Nintendo a few months ago give or take a couple. Perhaps Klei was a part of it (I live in Washington state) and first announced it there.

xaid
It's already spring. Where is it? According to Nintendo.com, its listed with a release date of May 31st, 2015 but I'm not sure how accurate that is... It would be pretty cool to get an update on how far Klei is with porting the game to the Wii U.

the truthseeker
Well well, PS will no longer be the only DS console monopoly holder player in town. I do hope it helps Nintendo (who needs a little love ATM.)

Was that really an official Nintendo trailer? They used previous gameplay footage from the PC version for the Nintendo trailer. It's official, click the video and you can see its from the official Nintendo channel.
delete accoun
I'm kinda edgy towards the WII U game pad functionality, but what the heck. But wait, didn't Klei sign some sorta contract with Sony to keep DS outside of any other console?
Fenrik
Hopefully it has local co-op. Either multiple people on split-screen or someone using the gamepad screen.

Primrose
WHAT ABOUT 3DS!!!!!!!! PLEASE MAKE ITZ FOR 3DS KLEI!!!! NOT NEW NINTENDO BUT THE ORIGINAL 3DS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Klei physically cannot port Don't Starve to the 3DS. Believe it or not, Don't Starve actually takes up a lot of resources on your Computer to run, a lot more than the average run-of-the-mill indie game out there. The game barely runs well on a PS4, a system optimized for Gaming. I will applaud Klei if the Wii U port turns out with minimal lag in such an unpredictable game.(Honestly I doubt it could even be pulled off on the New 3DS hardware, and the Vita port was laggy to begin with, so hopes of a portable Don't Starve game should be put asside until there is hardware that supports it — and by that point I fear it will be too late, Klei won't be working on this game anymore.) And what about those cartridges which are made for boosting things like ds/dsi/3ds.
