Allow Us To Craft Mandrake Houses!

Recommended Posts

I really like the idea of Elder Mandrakes. The fact that they give living logs is great so I don't have to waste 10 axes trying to spawn a Treeguard. But there are just so few of them! Why not make them craft-able? The recipe would require 1 Mandrake, 6 manure and 6 twigs. And please don't say "why would we want to craft a something that spawns hostile mobs?", because no one complained about Dragoon dens. and since Mandrakes are not renewable, maybe Elder Mandrakes should have a 10% chance to drop a new item called a Mandrake Seed, that you could use to plant a new mandrake, which you could use to craft another house.

Good idea, I like

That will be quite immortal, for you having so much mandrake, where they do not spoil, u can have easy food and health with bunch of them

There's lots of ways to get easy food in all DST versions, IMO. As others have said though already, it doesn't give food anyway. But if it had, it wouldn't be different than pig huts or rabbit hutches.

but as you know, mandrake soup is easy to make once you have mandrake

and mandrake soup gives you a lots more health and hunger than others crook pot recipe, that value is amazingly high

It may even break the meta of the game "don't starve"
