Greenhouses for growing stuff in winter maybe? Kevin I think mentioned something about canned goods in an interview, so you could maybe save some stuff for the winter months. I'd imagine that if you can freeze to death, you have to make some kind of dwelling or something. Maybe like the straw roll, only it's a tent or something and you can use it to sleep through the cold nights so many times before you have to replace it like an axe.

Maybe it should kick in at day 150,i think that this will add a nice challenge for a player who as made it kinda far into the world, plus making it kick in 30 days after start it kinda cruel for newbie players(i do know the game is roguelike, and I like it)Also we don't really know if the time the action happens isn't in Winter alreadyQuote:"Does that mean spring is coming?" from red bird analysis

Actually... What about grass? As far as I know, grass tends to not actually grow in the winter...So... No grass = no ropeNo grass or rope = No straw rolls or items using grass or rope (quite a few to be honest).

Of course not! But it shouldn't be something what only happens to you if you want it. For example warmth. You should lose warmth until day/night even if you wear a coat or other clothes. Only not quite as much. Fire will warm you.(only assuming some of the winter features of course)Not like wearing a tophat won't let you loose any sanity when dusk hits. This is too good.

It will be nerfed just wait and see, there are too many part time gamers who love to react to any changes by posting on the forums instead of playing and figuring things out. The same reward system Kevin tore apart on that article a while back is what has created these spoiled players, they want to compete and win, but not lose. They always pick the easy difficulty and love getting those achievements for doing absolutely nothing. Trophies just for participating and gold stars on every paper....blood boiling...must stop thinking about them.
