Refinery problem

Recommended Posts

It happens when the output gets blocked. I think the bug is still there but if you don`t get your pipe blocked or randomly broken you`ll be fine. If you get extra water stuck inside you can use the empty storage tool before starting new recipies so it won`t get superheated. Just need to keep an eye on the refinery and the coolant flow.

You can use the empty button in the refinery menu, the water will be ejected in a bottle that can be emptied.

300oC will change to steam instantly and damage the dupes as well as heat up the area. You need to empty the machine bofere the stuck water goes over 100oC. If it does the only way to empty it safely is to seal it off and deconstruct using the corner build exploit, then cool the steam somehow.

Is the bug in the Refinery have been solve? the water is getting heated up to 200c without any reason

It's not a bug, the old state where we were able to use polluted water endlessly was a bug.

The coolant heat up 200°C when you refined Steel because it's an high temperature reffinery.

Oh I see I was refining steel at it

But I dont get it, it supposed to remove the water it used, but somehow the water that was stored in side the refinery just increase in temperature in no particular reason. And my refinery output is not blocked out in anyway

Maybe you could use automation to turn it off until you remove all the coolant. This could be done with a pipe sensor on the output.

Sure, IF the liquid comes out at all.

The glass forge is currently buggy, causing "cold damage" at the output pipe, making it break every 4 cycles. Setting it on repeat, causing liquid glass at serveral hundret degree to remain in the forge. Its no fun, when a dupe repairs the pipe, and tons of liquid glass come out, melting the whole area.

Same goes for liquids in the metal refinery. Sometimes it just stays in the refinery for no real reason, heating up and up. The moment its released, you can watch melt everything.

For now, its a bug, that needs to be fixed soon.

Try using insulated abbysalite as pipe and you will escape this problem...The cold damage is because the liquid glass solidify in the pipe breaking it. I use a loop whit an liquid storage for heating purpose...

Also make sure there`s no liquid at the base of the forge. It will interact with the molten glass and cause it to solidify when leaving the forge.
