Steve Raptor
I just noticed that gantries can only be connected with wires/conductive wires. Considering that each gantry consumes 1.2kw this makes little sense, as you need 2-3 of them and would have been much easier to connect them to a solar network with heavy watts. What is the logic behind this? Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/95295-why-cant-we-connect-heavy-watt-wires-to-gantries/ Share on other sites
Gurgel
Probably a bug. Everything else can accept heavy watt wires. Unless it was changed, you can build the Door over the Heavy-Watt but not the other way around. You can't do that anymore. It was changed ages ago (in tubular upgrade iirc). (And I just checked, you still can't) Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/95295-why-cant-we-connect-heavy-watt-wires-to-gantries/#findComment-1082394 Share on other sites
Steve Raptor
On the same breath, Il also add that I don't understand the purpose of re-tracking gantries in the first place....it severs no purpose. You can launch the rocket with gantries deployed. goatt
a mighty closing door can destroy everything. Heavy wire not an exception. You can launch the rocket with gantries deployed. Maybe cause they catch more heat deployed when the rocket is fired resulting in instantaneous overheating. Just guessing here. It can go through wall/door, like pipes. I was kinda joking back then. Flying_Banana
While you cannot build heavy watt wires on top of gantries, gantries can be built on top of heavy watt wires.
