gassy moos feeds on gas grass just like dreckos (klei should name gas grass's product something else like gas grass grass) each moo need 16 tiles of space,

moos do not reproduce, meaning there is no need to tame them. moo's maximum calories: 1200kcal

moos do not eat products of gas grass, moos do not eat gas grass that are "ready for harvest", 1kg of gas grass provide 100kcal (testing results showed 102kcal)

one gas grass grow 1kg of gas grass each cycle (just as every other plant). gas grass requires 500g of liquid cholrine (not gas not solid)

gas grass "sleep" when light is below 20000lux, they still consume cholrine when they are asleep.

total cholrine-NG conversion=1:10

How long do they live?

Are there temperature at which they die?

i don't know how old they are when they get off the rocket, but they can live up to 75 cycles, haven't tested their livable temp but i think you can find the answers to both questions in the game's database

Thanks for the info @hostagesaverfuz

I was asking because this time I will resist testing the beta branch,

1/ I will never see the "end game" by starting fresh each time

2/ I'm done with poor FPS because of the tracker (but I understand it's there ! <3 U Klei)

so I do not have yet the "in game" data.

Interestingly, you can only have wild gas grass when spawning them in the debug mode.

How much gass does the moo produce each cycle and how calories does a moo need each cycle?

Also Klei really should start to give us better cooling options because if they require us to cool down chlorine to the condensation point, with chlorine being vented at 60°C and needed to be cooled down to -36.6°C and with the whole installation basically needed to be happening on the asteroid surface, they should atleast give use some better tools for cooling, maybe preferable cooling through radiating heat into space. It'll already be a big challenge to make a workable setup.

A single Wheezewort should be able to cool chlorine to condensation and freezing point once primed.

Thats how I used to get rid of all my chlorine and CO2 before slicksters came out and squeaky pufts.

You mean when switching to EU update or just now for Rocket update with a save from a big old base? Can you tell how many cycles/animal/dupes there are if it's the latter, please?

I have not tried switching from an old base into the new build, I will tonight.

Can it cool that at the rate of a chlorine vent's output? If so, I'll take my words back.

Depends on how much your vent puts out, but the system I used would cool an entire 500g instantly once it was primed, I am unsure how it will handle constant 500g/s though but I think it could as long as the hydrogen with the wheezewort is dense enough

they can endure -200-200 degree celsius, but i would advise -100- -30 to prevent evaporation or solidification of liquid cholrine

yes, ez. my cholrine emits 100g/s, cholrine's SHC is 1/5 of hydrogen's ,1 wheezewort cools 1000g of hydrogen by 5 degree per second , which is the same as 250 degree for a 100g/s cholrine vent

Chlorine got very little heat-capacity, so if you have a room with Hydrogen and a few Wheezeworts, Metal Tiles and then the chlorine, it should cool down relatively quickly. As the Wheezewort will cool more when in the Hydrogen, rather than the chlorine.

So u go to space to get weeze I do not need and moos that take a lot of work to make something I have plenty of (power).  Did I miss anything?

Its to replace The oilboiler that they made redundant.

Instead of planning a complex mechanism you bring space cows that eat chlorine. And fart methane that you burn for co2/slickstermeat.

Its a dead end design as chlorine is non renewable mostly.

That and I have never needed more than h2 gens and ng from geysers for power anyway.  Never felt I needed to boil oil for my ng so raising cows hardly excites me.  End game should have some perceived benefit or fun....

What people are doing in this game that they need so much power?
