[Game Update] - 280216

  • Developer
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when dupes walked through an area that previously contained suit lockers.
  • The word "EggShell" should now be translatable.
  • Moved Morale next to stress in the vitals panel.
  • Added some Morale related tips.
  • Fixed missing string reference: "Any".
  • Fixed filter status item not showing the correct element.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur after a Dupe died.
  • Updated Korean and Russian translations.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur on Linux when generating worlds and when loading previous save files.
  • Fixed dupes getting stuck animating in place.
  • Improved Morale display in consumables screen.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when using the sandbox stamp tools.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur if a creature fell off the map.
  • Fix for the great hall room type sometimes not getting recognized until you reloaded your save file.
  • "Neutral" morale gives a stress bonus
  • The stress from low morale comes on more gently (but has the same maximum)
  • Custom game settings for morale only apply to negative stress effects (and retuned a bit)

May I ask if anyone in the dev team is looking at the problem with dupes seeing only one compactor at a time when storing resources ? I lost the will to play when I see my dupes carrying only a few grams 70% of the time...

Is there any chance you have a save file which reproduces the issue?

in pic3, u can still see the air of aris fart he did on pic2 - so it happened directly after it, not faked. banhi hardly moved at all

Edit: just happened inside a tube after hitting pause. the dupe literally turned around after 0.1s waiting

The issue is already created in the bug tracker with a save attached in a comment. If I can help somehow just ask. I'll do everything that is needed to help.

If you want to give it a try, this should be fixed in the expressive_upgrade_hotfix branch.

I just tested it again, I sent some of my dupes to a little field trip inside a SPOM and they didn't get hypothermia when exposed at -5°C over a cycle but the one exposed to -27°C did. I'm not sure though if you should be getting hypothermia or not at -5°C.

P.S. TIL that you get hypothermia when your body temp drops below 35. One dupe dropped to 34 but didn't get hypothermia.

If you still need the save files, just let me know.

after understanding what u asked for:

i checked some dupes for hours now and it always happens when dupe is on "construction delivering" and often when they needed to pass an exosuit-point up to space to collect iron...

So each time they stuck, the task vanished and reappeared again - seems as if they tried to access ressources they cant / disappeared?

 

edit: fixed it by cleaning the area they always tried to goto with debug tools
