Finding Random plants uprooted or trees broken

Recommended Posts

That is terrifying. So, what, as the planet (?) Don't Starve is on moves through its orbit, the meteors still always come from the same spot in space, so as the planet changes its position relative to the meteor source, the exact _part_ of the planet the meteors hit, changes?

(A) I did not know it did that and (b) I don't know if that's why it was coded that way, but if it was, kudos!  And also (c), terrifying.

...Notorious

Random question,is it wise to put some moleworms around that area so they gather (slowly) the minerals from the meteors (I think they are mostly produced when meteors crush into existing stone structures) ? Then you just dig them out in the dawn/night and begin anew. Or are their nests in serious danger from the meteors themselves?

i thought rocks despawn from certain time in those nests

The meteor field is almost always found by the Mosaic biome (The same biome you'll find the Rock Den in). As a result, you'll also find Moon Rocks here, which will only respawn via meteorites.

Or the moon stone.

There was this video of a guy showing some really nice tips for dont starve together where he basically drops moleworms into the caves then comes back every few days to dig out whatever minerals they farmed during earthquakes.Really useful if you don't want to go mining.Just propagate as many moleworms as possible by taking them in and out of caves and it can be done.I don't know how fast it is though.Every few days might be something between 3 and 15 days...

Are there earthquakes when no one is in the caves?

That's what I thought too from watching that video, but when I tried it,I'm not sure there ever was one earthquake when I was above ground.
