How long will this rare skin event last?

Either or, the common item market has risen by 3 cents as of this post.

Not surprising. This happened during the Hallowed Nights event too. Everyone has been busy gambling for those new skins at the trade inn.

On the upside it looks like many people are getting these, so the prices are plummeting down for now. This should facilitate trading.

Yes, this is great. There are enough of the new skins out there that they're quite affordable. I snapped up a green Santa hat!

I actually got a green Santa hat as a drop!  :)  In front of other players, so I could make them jealous even!  Hee hee.  _And_ a holly wreath skin for the garland.

Man, even if I don't get any of the uber-rare things (and I'm not expecting to) I'm already cleaning up way better than I did at the Halloween event!  :D

Edit:  TADA!

Although, gotta say, Wigfrid looks better in that hat than I do. : P

Is it still only 4 drops per week?

Yep, as always, but the odds of you getting a holiday themed skin are higher, just like during the Halloween event.

Personally, I'm quite happy with the non-purchasable skins, now THESE I wish I could keep forever.

Now, I would be very glad if this lasted at least two weeks. Or even until the year's end, because that's pretty close. Unless Klei got something planned for New Year's Eve.

They need to give me time to get started on the plum pudding hat shrine... and the amount of time spent leading up to the point where I have an exhaustible amount of resources in DST to make said shrine.

I wanna keep the overcooooaaaaattttt... (pout)

It's SO COOL LOOKING and totally fits my style.  Long coat, fancy bow-tie (bowties are cool!)/cravat thing, lacy cuffs...it looks like something the Doctor would wear _and I wants it_, my precious...!

If I could I'd totally change my traditional winter outfit into _that_ plus my red gloves, as it's also the only other thing I have besides a cardigan that fully covers your arms.  I mean, I know it makes no _actual_ difference?  But I feel only the outfits that look covering make VISUAL sense for winter.  I like to dress for all the seasons, including shorts and polo-shirt for summer, classy browns for fall and a yellow trenchcoat that looks kinda like a raincoat for spring.  :)
