GLERMZ
Hello everyone, hope you all doing fantastic! I'm here to talk a bit about Christmas lights added in the Winter Veil Content. Honestly they look amazing, but i feel 20 days for 1 lamp that you can refuel is a little bit to steep. Currently only Klaus is dropping them, and only after 4 kills i actually got him to drop 2 in the same present. So here would be my options to fix this issue (Feel free to give your input and suggestions) 1st. - Make the Non Seasonal Bosses drop Christmas Light as-well. (Dragonfly, BeeQueen, Toadstool). They have big healthpools, require a lot of resources to kill, so i think it would make sense this ones drop the lights as-well instead of just normal Christmas Balls. 2nd.-Make them refuel. Maybe with Glow Berries if you don't want them to be refueled that easily. My point is, they look great, and several on the same tree are even better. So if we have this great feature why not make it a tiny bit better? Best Regards, Glermz ps. I really loved this Extra Content patch. DAMN SNOW FLAKES ARE AWESOME. THANK YOU KLEI. Kittydub
I also don't get why they keep going down when they're not in the tree. I mean, you're not on a tree, you're not lighting up, why is your percentage going down? It makes saving for 8 of these for the whole tree impossible and that is something really sad, it looks really good. Electroely
I think the reason they aren't refuelable is because having 2 refuelable lights on the tree would make infinite light that requires little to no work to maintain. I think this would against the logic in Don't Starve since there hasn't been any form of creatable infinite light yet. Just my opinion. P.S. This should probably be moved to the suggestions section. @ImDaMisterL, would you mind moving it? Developer V2C Posted December 12, 2016 Developer Share Posted December 12, 2016 Hey guys, the christmas lights should be lasting 160 days, and have already been patched so that they do not deplete when they're not in use. Hey Vitto. Thanks, i knew they were patched but didn't knew for how long they would last. Than i would just keep my first suggestion. 4 hours ago, Glhrmzz said: 1st. - Make the Non Seasonal Bosses drop Christmas Light as-well. (Dragonfly, BeeQueen, Toadstool). GLERMZ
Just now, TheKingDedede said: This thread is in the Suggestions and Feedback thanks to MisterL... I know, like i said i don't mind it. All i said is, if we are going to start to be picky on where posts should be, there is a lot of cleaning to do, every single day Also there will be a lot of dubious posts, because than again is a General Section. Anyway i'm fine. I will continue to post stuff on General discussion and let mods do their job. My issue here was not with MisterL .
