Gradual Daytime Transitions

I believe there's a mod for it in vanilla DS, but what do you all think? I kind of like the idea of the sun gradually rising in the morning, sort of like it becoming evening, and then night. Instead of it just jumping from night to morning like the flick of a light, it would enter into a morning version of evening, and then transition into day.

And as long as we're on it, does anyone else think that it would be kind of fulfilling fun to have the characters do the "tired walk" animation they do after waking up from a mandrake, after they get up from a roll or out of a tent? It would be a small detail, but I think it would be pretty fun.

Oh yeah, definitely!  I looked up the dawn mod and...it seems it doesn't really work with newer versions of the game, plus it has some features I'm not sure I want.  But that would be really pretty and cool-looking, and also make sense.

And also YES to the staggering-around-sleepy thing. Heh.  That's seriously one of the most adorable animations in the game, and if you walk sleepily after being unconscious for a while for _one_ reason...why not the other, more normal reason?

I'd imagine it would slow you down for a few moments. It shouldn't be too big of a problem though, because you can't sleep during danger anyway.

Yes, DawnBreak for DST would be great! Sadly, I think Heavenfall, the original developer, has stopped modding Don't Starve.

When you create an alternative version of a software, its called forking.

I suppose if @Heavenfall agrees, somebody could do that.

The first idea didn't exactly fit well with me, but I guess if it happened I'd say something like "eh, ok."

As for the second idea, yes, I think it should be added. It adds a touch more realism and animations, which are love and life.
