Hurricane season does indeed suck, I've played Shipwrecked once and I got bored of hurricane season and deleted that file lmao

Personally, my only problem in hurricane season is the tornado boss.. its not that boring, its actually quite funny for me, my worst season in SW would be Dry season ._. 

Seriously need tips on how to beat that season ..


But, in RoG tho.. My longest play is to Day 380 using WX78.. He rocks!

I haven't fought it yet, but you should take some boat repair kits, it's obvious  Dumbrela and many repair kits will give you victory, am I right?

Considering that Quacken always gives you a breather after you chipped away a quarter of it's health i say so.

I haven't killed the Quacken myself yet but so far I got all the things that i need to feel Comfortable to kill it (Armored Boat a few Spearguns and a Blubbersuit) so I probably go and kill it soon on my current SW file.

I feel like such a noob, having just started the game. I do have a question though: are there specific areas where materials like gold can be found? And what is that strange machine made by Maxwell that takes you to another world for a bit until you die?

Gold can be found scattered around on graveyards, or inside gold-vein boulders (which you can mine : P), more commonly found in rocky and desert biomes.

There's the Wooden thing, which in Sandbox just makes you a new world and there's Maxwell's Door (presumably the one you're talking about), which leads you to Adventure Mode, a hard and arduous place full of challenges for you to survive in. There are 5 chapters and an epilogue. You unlock Maxwell by beating it and can find the setpiece in which you unlock Wes in in one of the chapters.

Found DST Chester both in surface and in a cave today. Now i just need to find Hutch in the surface. (default server)

That is imposible, like how chester is on the caves.(Exept if you use console commands)

I know it is. I was joking.

I did find chester in a cave in DST as you can see from the screenshot, but at the same time i had another chester waiting outside of the cave. It was a default pub server with no mods or admins. Probably just a weird bug.

There is actually a chester in the caves, he's just rarely found because people don't typically explore the caves thoroughly, they just look for ruins and explore those.
