Doy Doys are almost extinct because they are "dumb birds with no common sense". Meanwhile, Pengulls only reason to exist is to go to land during winter and die when the season changes but somehow their species are fine.

Do you have any idea how many eggs they produce? Imagine how many Pengulls are being born per day while they are away.

1 egg per pengull every winter versus 1 Doy Doy egg per couple every 2-3 all year? Doy Doys ironically win. And how does the amount of eggs even matter if the pengulls eggs never hatch and rot after winter anyway? There are no pengulls being born at all, and the ones who are already born keep dying by going to land lol.

Well, you use both the remains of shadow monsters (that can appear even when you're not insane in the Ruins) and dead animated trees, so I'd say it's magic
